Protestant) This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 11th day of July, 1933, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [317], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading Bird Neck Point, 3:45 to 3:55 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Va. Beach, Va.

1. GC: You will have before you the enquiring minds of [317] and [267], present in this room, in regard to their work with the Virginia Beach School and Camp for Boys, and who seek information, advice and guidance as to how they may continue in the best way for all concerned. You will give that which will be of definite help to them at this time, and answer the questions they have submitted, as I ask them.

2. EC: Yes, we have the bodies and enquiring minds of [317] and [267], and their work; this we have had before.

3. As given, that which is being undertaken is worth while. The conditions that arise in the present, and that have arisen from time to time, appear to be such as to preclude this being carried forward; yet, as we find, there may be those channels opened whereby there may be the greater amount of aid and help come that would insure the continuing of the work in which they have put so much of themselves.

4. Through those connections, then, that have been and are being made, we would find that this may be accomplished. These, as specifics, refer to those channels that have been presented to them direct.

5. Ready for questions.

6. (Q) Will we have enough campers this summer to make expenses and to justify our keeping open? (A) If those connections and channels are kept open, that have been outlined and followed, there will be sufficient.

7. (Q) Should we plan for camp next summer? (A) Conditions are in the general on the improve, and while there has been a long strain on the bodies - and on their whole beings, not the whole of the season or camp should be in the next season.

8. (Q) What specifically is meant in our Life Readings [317-4 and 267-1] by the reference to October 15th of this year, regarding our change of affairs? (A) That there will be channels opened through which there will come an aid that has been sought and worked for, for some time; for these are the periods when the conjunction of astrological as well as spiritual influences will be the greater in the experiences of the bodies.

9. (Q) Where exactly will permanent school be? (A) As we find, this is also being worked out; and will be somewhere near those same surroundings as the present, though not on the same properties.

10. (Q) Should we rent present building for another year? (A) For another year.

11. (Q) Please give us any constructive criticism about school or camp. (A) There is no criticism. Rather that the patience, the persistence, the long-suffering, is not going unheeded. Just hold to that which is being given to selves from day to day. Trust in those guides that announce themselves in Him; none others.

12. (Q) How about asking John Crane for help towards building? (A) This will be well to be done, about the 15th to 20th of August.

13. (Q) Should either of us consider attempting to earn money on the outside? (A) That should be rather the directions given from time to time to meet emergencies.

14. (Q) Through whom should we seek this aid? (A) Through those direct channels that are pointed out to the bodies from time to time.

15. (Q) We do not understand. Who are the channels? (A) From time to time there are presented those instructions, those directions direct to selves, through those guides that would direct in the activities of the bodies from day to day. Those that ever announce themselves in or through Him, or by His name, let them direct.

16. (Q) Please give any other advice that will be of help and encouragement at this time. (A) Keep in that way that self keeps in contact with the forces and sources of light that are brought through the activity of His forces in the life; THESE are safe and sure, for His promises will abide with thee ever.
