GC: You will give the physical conditions of this body at the present time, with suggestions for the relief and improvement of same. You will answer the questions I ask you regarding this body.
-
EC: Yes, we have those impressions as concerning this body, [3190], here. We have had this before.
-
Now, we find there are many of the physical conditions that are improved in the body from that as we have had; while there are some that are somewhat exaggerated, produced by the condition as has been brought about by the congestion as has been shown in the system. The accentuation is especially in that of the digestive system, and that as gives off the reaction through the nerve supply of the body.
-
Then, to bring the nearer normal condition for this body, we would follow more closely yet those suggestions as have been given, in that of that as to be taken in the system, for the general condition in the digestive system and for the correction of those conditions along the cerebro-spinal system. We would do that, for we will find these will bring the nearer normal condition for the body.
-
The weight, as we find, will be increased by this, for the detraction that has come, as we have given, is in the leaving off of those conditions as would produce the better assimilation, those that will produce the better activity to the whole general system, especially in that as refers to the kidneys in their action, and to the generatory system, for the replenishing of the rebuilding forces in the body gives the better incentive for the system throughout.
-
Then, we would follow those conditions as have been outlined for this body. Do that. Ready for questions.
-
(Q) In former reading, regarding trouble in lumbar region, was tried as per instructions, but has returned. (A) Then, we should have these conditions corrected through those adjustments as have been given, for this we find is again the reoccurrence of the inclination as was set in the system, as in times back, as has been outlined for this body, [3190].
-
(Q) How many osteopathic treatments will be necessary? (A) At least eight thorough adjustments and treatments.
-
(Q) Does the body need the Violet Ray? (A) Needs the Violet Ray.
-
(Q) How many hours of sleep does this body require at night, and what are the best sleeping hours? (A) Eight - and these may be made at whatever time the body so desires, see?
-
(Q) What method should be used to increase the body’s weight to normal? (A) Those of the general conditions for the system.
-
(Q) What will be the outcome of certain conditions that have been decreasing the mental and physical forces for the last month or two? (A) Overcome these conditions through that as has been suggested that would bring about the normal condition for this body.
-
(Q) Would the migrating of the physical body meet with greater success than it has in the past? If so, what would be the exact location? (A) Along the East coast of the present country, we would find would be the better, see?

We are through with this reading.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 9/20/26 GD’s note: He referred Mrs. [4209] for a Physical Rdg.
R2. 11/16/29 [3190]‘s ltr. to EC: “A few words to let you know I am still among the living. I received your booklet some time ago and I am so glad to know you are getting along so well. While I was in Florida last winter I gave several of your pamphlets to folks I met there, and have given the balance away since I have been home, if I had some more I would give them to the sufferers who need help. Business here is slow. I see Mr. […] once in a while. We are two firm believers in you and it behooves us to do all we can for the welfare of others. How is [are] things going? I hope O.K. We may go to Fla. again this winter. I have a friend here who wants a rdg., would like to know how soon one can be had, and what it will cost as I will have to help pay for the rdg. Please write me on receipt of this letter, as I would appreciate an early rdg. My wife and I send our best wishes to you and all the family.”
R3. 1/32 He obtained Physical Rdg. for his brother, Mr. [3985].
R4. 5/22/38 [3190]‘s letter: “No doubt you will be surprised to hear from one of your old loyal friends. I am sending you a clipping of one of my best friends and yours also. […] who passed away some time ago. I was out to his funeral and was sorry to lose a dear friend like him, but that is something we have no control over. He thought a lot of you Mr. Cayce, and he and I was [were] always very thankful for what you had done for our physical welfare and for the rest of human suffering. Well how are you? and how is the rest of the family? I am fairly well myself and so is my wife. Getting along about as well as can be expected under the trying conditions. My brother [3985] whom you gave a reading on four years ago this coming October died about 6 months after you gave him his rdg. He would not follow out your instructions [copied into 3985-1]. I would like to hear from you and the rest of the folks and would be pleased to hear from you at an early date. With best wish and regards.”
R5. 7/15/43 [3190]‘s letter: “My health is not very good. I have a bad prostate and it is getting me down, and my belief and confidence in you is unshaken. Before I submit to any operations or treatments I want your rdg. first. Would like to know how soon you can get to me. I realize you are always booked up ahead. But a friend in need is a friend indeed. Well how have you been? How is all the family? Is Miss Davis with you yet? I have recommended a great many people to you, but so many are skeptical. My wife and I send our best wishes to you all and cherish your friendship highly. Please give this your personal attention.”
R6. 8/29/43 [3190]‘s letter: “Enclosed you will find $10 for my rdg., Sept. 2nd 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. I will be at … Ave. during the rdg. I would be pleased if you would return the results of the rdg. as quickly as possible.
“The questions are as follows:
Is there a cure for my prostate trouble? If an operation is necessary which is preferable: Transurethral Resection, Suprapubic or Perineal, Prostalectomy, and what Surgeon would you recommend: if an operation is necessary for prostate could an operation for the double Hernia I have be done at the same time? What should be recommended for my Hemorrhoids as a permanent cure? State what should be done about my eyes and teeth, both are causing me trouble. I have more confidence in your readings than any other I could consult.
“With best wishes…”
