Time of Reading 4:30 to 4:35 P. M. Eastern War Time. …, Florida.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time with suggestions for further corrective measures, answering the questions as I ask them:

2. EC: [After repeating suggestion in an undertone]: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.

3. Conditions in some ways are improved. In some ways there are beginning to be doubts.

4. The sources of these disturbances should be as much of a problem, not so much as to cause too great a concern but to know that these are for those responsible for the body as well as for the body itself. Hence these are karmic. It is faith alone that can bring all of these things to pass in these experiences of this body, without there being after effects. It is true that healing of body, of mind, of the effects, can be accomplished in faith alone. Yet, as in every individual experience that is a manifestation in the earth, there is the physical and the mental to be dealt with. These need manifestations even as He manifested in flesh - though divine; that we as individuals through Him might know the way back to God.

5. Thus as we apply all of those things that have been suggested, know that each has its place in contributing to that necessary to cause every cell of the physical body of [3210] to respond to the divine within.

6. But the attitude of the parents, too, is to be in that direction of making the paths straight; for themselves first, and for him - as to his purpose in the earth.

8. (Q) What originally caused our boy’s convulsions and what is continuing to cause his convulsions and mental dullness? (A) As indicated, karmic.

R1. 4/28/57 Father’s letter: ”…Mr. Cayce gave a reading for our son [3210] on September 12, 1943 and followed up this reading with another reading on November 21, 1943.

“We have copies of our correspondence with Mr. Cayce but have lost or misplaced the account of the above-mentioned two readings. We are writing to inquire if you still have the records of these readings and if we can obtain copies of same.

“If so, please send same, with invoice, to me at the following address:…”

R2. 5/3/57 GD’s reply: ”…In checking with the Edgar Cayce Foundation, the organization founded in 1948 for the sole purpose of preserving and making available the readings of Edgar Cayce, I find that there will be a cost of $5.00 to copy your son’s two readings.

“It will possibly be ten days before this work can be done, as the typist has other urgent work ahead of it. Please make your check payable to the Edgar Cayce Foundation and not to the Association.

“We’d be interested in knowing whether or not you followed the treatment recommended for your son and what the results were.

“Under separate cover we are sending to you data concerning the present activities of the Association. I hope that you will join with us in ‘the work’ by becoming a member. In any case we’d be glad to hear from you and to have you come visit us if you pass this way…”

R3. 7/60 Dr. W. N. Pahnke’s notes on Case [3210] in preparing resume of 96 cases of epilepsy according to the Edgar Cayce files: “This case was classified as in group 1. There was a history of convulsions for 10 years and they started at the age of 10 months. There was no EEG evidence for epilepsy. The diagnosis would seem to be mental retardation plus petit mal or psycho-motor epilepsy. There were no follow-up reports.”

R4. 4/11/61 Rev. […]‘s letter to HLC: “Only this morning […] [[3210]‘s father], a vestryman, spoke of having taken his son to your father for diagnosis. They did not accept his diagnosis of intestinal trouble and THIS PAST WEEK have discovered, after so many years, he was right!”
