This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Artic Crescent, Va. Beach, Va., this 22nd day of September, 1933, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [325], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., via her son Mr. [257].
[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. L. B. Cayce.]
Time of Reading 3:50 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here, Mrs. [325]; this we have had before.
-
As we find, in the main, conditions are progressing very satisfactorily; save when there are those inclinations for the body-mental to become upset, or when there are those conditions in the digestive system that show for either those reactions that produce some cold or some condition that produces gas or nausea. In the main, the conditions are very good.
-
We would continue with those suggestions that have been given, in the main as we have outlined; using occasionally the wines as a tonic and stimulant; using the ash, not so much as to produce an exaggerated activity in the circulation but one-eight of a grain each twelve hours - or twice in one day, that would be one early of morning and one just before retiring, this - as we find would be the more satisfactory. Or, taking the capsule as prepared, take half in the one dose and half in the other.
-
We would not use the ultra violet ray for longer than the five to ten minutes, and this - as we find - will be more satisfactory to the dorsal and cervical area. This we would take thirty minutes after EACH DOSE of the ash, and should be sufficient for the releasing of the oxygen as well as supplying for the body the ultra violet rays for the whole system; and this increased because of the darker days.
-
Be mindful in the diet, that this is kept much in the manner well known by the body.
-
We would also keep on hand, as we have given, an ointment which would be prepared in this manner: To a level teaspoonful of Iodex mix THOROUGHLY one capsule (or one-quarter grain) of the carbonated ash, or carbon ash. MIX THOROUGHLY! Use as an ointment on those portion of the gland, and on the breast, where there are those abrasions or those tendencies for irritation; NOT on the raw portions, but on those close about same, which will aid in keeping soft and drying condition also where it’s tuberous in its nature.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Shall the body continue taking the Life Everlasting tea? (A) Yes, this is well to take OCCASIONALLY; that we may keep the better reaction in the blood supply, for it assists in cleansing same.
-
(Q) Is the body getting too stout? (A) For the general conditions, not too stout.
-
(Q) Will exercise hurt the right side? (A) Not if it’s the right kind! Walking, and the like, is very good for the body.
-
(Q) How far shall the body walk? (A) Just not to OVERTIRE self.
-
(Q) How is the right breast getting along? (A) Very good, considering the whole conditions and time.
-
(Q) Would [young man [2854]] and [my youngest child, daughter [563]] united, make me happy? (A) As we find, it would make for a more satisfaction and an easing of the anxieties of the body. For, if the body will turn for retrospection in its inner self a bit, it will be seen that in these may be the completing of that promised in self through the Creative Forces, in the petitions, when there was first the consciousness of the conditions arising within the body; some fourteen - fifteen years ago. And it would make, as we find, for a satisfaction and contentment. [See daughter’s rdg. 563-4, Par 16-A, 17-A on 5/29/34.]

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 9/28/33 “The rdg. arrived and explained very satisfactorily the treatment. As you see, I am feeling just fine. Only the condition of the right breast worries me, as it is there although it does not pain me, as it is drying up and I know that it will be all right in time. Yes, the last question was as I thought at the time of my fall fifteen (15) years ago, and the pain and strain was in the breast. Then Mr. [my husband] died and I was afraid to have the breast removed, and prayed that I should live to see [daughter [563]] married. I thought then that surely all of my children would be married and then it would be satisfying. Well, thank God for this much life and I hope to see all of my children married and to see their children, and then my work will be done - thanks to your help.”
R2. EC’s ltr. to Mrs. [310]: ”…I’m always brought up rather sharply when I consider some of the thing I have seen come and go. I had occasion just ‘at this sitting’ to write to a mother who 15 years ago made a promise to her God that if He would allow her to live, keep in fairly good health, until her baby daughter was grown, she would be satisfied. A few weeks ago she asked in a reading about the approaching marriage of this child, this baby; and, as we all no doubt are, she is asking now for a few more years, that she may see every one of her children married and - yes - their children. We forget!”
R3. “[Daughter-in-law [903]] has been ill. She should have stayed at the beach as she was advised. I have not been so well, just from the worries of life. Less said the better.” [She enclosed her monthly contribution to EC’S work.]
R4. 11/27/33 She obtained a Ck. Physical Rdg. 325-47.
