This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 29th day of December, 1934, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [325], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.
[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]
Time of Reading 3:20 to 3:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. N.Y.C. (Body and enquiring mind, in regard to her physical health and the welfare of her daughter [460], who is present in the apartment with her. You will give any advice that will be of help to her at this time, and answer the questions she has submitted, as I ask them.)
-
EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [325], and those conditions physical and material that surround the body in relationships to self and to the daughter [460].
-
Now, as to the physical - this we find somewhat better. There is still a slowing up of the circulation in the extremities, as indicated by conditions in feet, ankles, lower limbs; also in the hands and shoulders at times. However, if those vibrations are applied as we have indicated through the Radio-Active Appliance, also the massage - and especially that across the lumbar, sacral, the upper portion of the sciatic centers, this condition - as we find - will be materially aided.
-
As to the rest of the conditions, with the digestive system and the activities in the physical and mental, well that these be kept in the manner that has been indicated.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Is the Radio-Active Appliance I have in good condition? (A) Now or when first asked for? Only needs, as we find (from the first here), that there be the tightening in some of the connections with same, and that there be the keeping of the plates or anodes polished so that there is the proper reaction or connection with the body as the application is made. These will be found to be very beneficial, if they are persisted in - these treatments. They are best taken as the body rests, not as it attempts to sleep; for it will tend to MAKE for resting - and will make the body sleep well afterwards. See?
-
(Q) In regard to my daughter [460], should I take […] in the home as her husband? [See 460-4, Par. 4-A on 9/30/31 in re man she is to marry.] (A) As we find, when all conditions are considered - and when it is considered as to what has been given regarding the body [460] and its developments in the material world, its associations in the mental and spiritual influence that it may have upon those in its activities, this would make for a very congenial association and a compatible influence in EVERY direction. Then, from the angles as indicated here in the present, this would make, for satisfactory associations and relations.
-
(Q) Would he be able to make a living for [460]? (A) He would be able to make a living for [460].
-
(Q) Is his health in condition to marry her? (A) The physical conditions of the body are in very good condition, and as we find - it would be the most beneficial for this body in such relationships.
-
(Q) Please advise me just what to do in this matter? (A) As indicated, this would be a compatible association - and make for influences in the lives of each that are involved in the associations and relations, that would be most satisfactory.
As to the activities, these - to be sure - must be rather from those of the contracting parties; for, as indicated and given, these would fit well with the activities, with the developments that are necessary for the better influence in the lives of each.
-
(Q) Is there any other advice the Forces can give to [460] and […]? (A) This might be given - a great deal of it, if approached from a different angle; but this is the beginning. The activities should be chosen well by and for themselves. THEN, should they seek together through such channels - much might be given.
-
We are through for the present.

R1. 1/4/35 “I was more than grateful to you for [460]‘s rdg., it was most beautifully expressed and I hope that it will all come out as said. Well, dear Judge, [460] and […] announced their engagement on New Year’s night to me and all the rest you know, so let us hope for the best. He has a lovely family…
“I hope you rec’d the ck. I was ill when I wrote to you. I really do not know what I did write, as a queer thing happened. As you know, I sent for a bottle of Ipsab, as I like to take care of my gums. Then Mr. House [Thos. B. House, Jr. of Health Home Remedies Corp.] sent me another bottle to try out, then a third bottle. So I took a little of the third bottle and just applied to one tooth and it broke out in one large blister, and did I have a terrible night and had to go to the doctor in the morning to be treated. He said I had pyorrhea on the one tooth, but it only took one day to cure it. I thought maybe you’d like to get a ck. up on it, as Mr. House wanted to know if the medicine did me any good. I will let you decide that. So then the Dr. wanted to x-ray my mouth, and my whole mouth is or rather teeth are in a bad condition, the x-ray shows. So you see more misery.”
R2. 1/8/35 See 1800-23 approving sample bottle of Ipsab.
