EC: Yes, we have the body here. As we find, there continues to be distresses through the attempts of the body to react from the applications that have been made. But gradually a little more strength is being taken.
-
Then, there only needs to be kept the patience and persistence. We would continue the gentle massage occasionally. Do not overtax the body by very STRONG reacting forces.
-
When necessary for cleansing the system, use the enemas. Use the sponge bath the more often for the quieting, the general reactions through every manner; these, as we find, are the better.
-
(Q) How much Luminal should be given the body now? (A) As given, sufficient to prevent pain only in this right side.
-
(Q) Can anything be done to relieve the severe nausea after taking the sedative? (A) Ice upon the esophagus, or ice pack, with a hot pack upon the plexus at the cardiac portion of the stomach.
-
(Q) Do you mean ice pack at the same time using a hot pack? (A) This would be better. Or if not ice, it may be a wet cold cloth over the cardiac or the throat, or vice versa.
