EC: Yes. As we find, conditions indicate there is more strength but that anxiety is produced by the activity of the disturbing forces where there is the flow from the injured portions. These anxieties are rather mental reactions which, to be sure, affect the nerve forces, especially through the lungs - and thus make hardships upon the heart and digestive forces.

Those suggestions that have been given will make for the greater relief - not too great a quantity of the baser sedatives or narcotics but rather a combination of the hypnotic and narcotic.

In the dressing, or the activities about this, we would still use - close to the edges of same - a combination of the Animated Ash with the Iodex. While this keeps same soft, moist, as it were, the other application of the Plantain with the cream - which should be made fresh each day, or every other day at least - will dry the condition and the general effect should be better.

(Q) Is there anything that can be done besides the Luminal, which nauseates her, to cause her to rest and sleep and not make her sick? (A) Relieve the nervousness. As has been indicated, that which will relieve the nervousness most is the gentle massage, especially of holding centers along the cerebro-spinal system - as in the 3rd and 4th cervical and at times in the 5th and 6th dorsal.
Some strength is gained. Follow those suggestions as we have indicated in other directions.

(Q) Any advice for those handling the body? (A) Patience, persistence and, most of all, consistency - not jumping from one to another. The mixing of much makes for disturbing factors.

(Q) Is Dr. Poole the proper physician for this body? (A) Any that will administer those things that will keep the body quiet, for there’s little being done save that and the nursing or care.
