Date: 9/5/1943 Sex: M Age: 36 ReadingID: 2692

This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 5th day of September, 1943, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [341], Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Sgt. [341].]

Time of Reading 3:40 to 3:45 P. M. Eastern War Time.

  1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [341], present in this room, and the efforts made in his behalf by [257] in connection with Gen. Moore of the War College and others. Considering the steps which have been taken and the situations existing, you will give advice and counsel regarding any further steps which may be taken either by [341] or [257].

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [341]; this we have had before, together with the conditions, the circumstances that surround the body at this time.

  3. There is nothing that the body [341] can do, or should do, in the present. For these, of course, have passed beyond any special effort other than answering those questions in respect to service desired to be rendered.

  4. As for [257], as indicated, Somerville [Gen. Brehon B. Somervell] should be the first approach, and then General Moore [Maj. Gen. Richard C. Moore]. This should be altogether on a personal basis of [257], and the friendship and those conditions existing in relationships to the various departments to which the body might be assigned as a favor to [257], because of the circumstances and conditions existing between [257] and Somerville or Moore. Either or both of these may be used in the efforts at this time.

  5. Ready for questions.

  6. (Q) Any advice for [341] regarding arranging for as early discharge as possible after fulfilling his obligations and duties? (A) As indicated in the present, very soon there are to be changes in the situations, see? For, to be sure, these are problems that are only handled by those higher up, or in authority. But it is dependent upon what branch of the service the changes may be wrought in his present position, and nothing done would be the earlier discharge. For, these will be, of course, in active service back of combat areas, and as soon as combat is over will be discharged. And these, as we find, with the present, would be in about eleven months. [Aug. 1944?] While that as may be of special service in offices may require a longer period of service but of a more general service, more specific service, and in positions - if desired to be used as positions after the peace conferences - or until the peace conferences.

  7. (Q) Any further advice for [341] at this time regarding his activities and work in the army? (A) As indicated, these have been given heretofore. So far as the change is concerned, nothing should be done by the body itself, see? but may be by others.

As to the attitude - this the entity understands. It is that there is to be the constructive forces, ever, in every phase of the activity of the body. The morale, as well as the spiritual, as well as those activities that are to be optimistic ever.
