This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach. Va., this 13th day of January, 1930, in accordance with request made by self and those in charge.

Time of Reading Cayce Hospital, 11:45 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Virginia Beach, Va. (Physical Suggestions)

1. EC: We have had the body, [372] before. Much improvement is shown in the physical forces of this body from that as we have had before. As for the MEDICINAL properties, these - in their quantity OR quality - we would not change materially, unless that of a gradual decrease.

2. We WOULD, however, add THIS: At least TWICE each week take the vapor baths, but DO NOT over stimulate the heart with same. Just so a full respiration, or perspiration in respiration, is set up. Then massage body thoroughly with an equal part of salt and that of water, rubbing down or sponging this body off with a shower, THEN rubbing body down thoroughly with that of the witchhazel - weakened, half and half, with DISTILLED water not plain water.

3. Also we would EQUALIZE the circulation and the DISTRIBUTION of same, as is set up in the capillaries, by the manipulations. Not ADJUSTMENTS so much, as of a THOROUGH manipulation. Occasionally there will be seen, for some time, some MINOR adjustments - as in the cervical region, and also in the upper lumbars. DO that.

5. (Q) How often should treatments be given osteopathically? (A) Every day wouldn’t hurt, so it isn’t OVER-done!

6. (Q) What can be done to relieve gastric condition? (A) That best relieved by the diet, or not OVER-eating - and by the removal of those pressures caused by strangulations as have existed. These would come under the manipulation portions, for there has been the formation of strangulations in adhesions, see?

7. (Q) How often for the vapor baths? (A) That has been given! Twice each week! Read it!

8. (Q) Why does the body feel drowsy, and what is advised to help this? (A) We have just advised, in that as has been given! as to set up for the respiratory system! Drowsiness is not harmful, unless it is produced by poisons! We are eliminating the poisons, and then the rest will be beneficial!

9. (Q) What laxative? (A) The diet and the manipulation.

10. (Q) Was last prescription prepared correctly? (A) Very good.

11. That is all the questions regarding this body.

12. We are through with this reading.
