This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 5th day of March, 1930, in accordance with request made by his son, Mr. [417].

1. EC: Yes, we have had this body before. Conditions are rather serious concerning the active forces with this body, on account of the pressure in the heart’s action, which comes in the suppressions. There must be given that stimuli, which will be found better in those of the active forces for the INCREASING OF the pulsation. This can be found better in the Digital than in that of the Strychnine, for the suppression follows same - and when these are given, there should be also the full manipulation to keep the active forces, will we sustain the forces - or the bodily life in this body. Do this immediately.

2. (Q) What should be the dosage of Digital? (A) Give it consistently under the supervision of physician! May be found necessary to give a quantity! The body may respond under a SMALLER quantity, but the MASSAGE and the circulation must be gotten away from the heart, or else we will find the sinking and collapsing of the body.

3. (Q) Is there anything wrong with body’s legs? (A) This repression, from the forces as come from this high pressure - NOT of the legs themselves. This is the pressure on the locomotaries.

4. (Q) Are there any clots on brain or any place in head to cause worry? (A) No clots. Rather that of the pressure as is produced in the full circulation at the time. HEART’S action! Do not let it flood!

Do that, and do it NOW! Keep the manipulation, or else we will find there will form those natural secretions IN the system that prevent the operation of the nerve system WITH those of the muscular forces - or a stroke.

5. (Q) Is it advisable for body to stay in bed? (A) Remain as quiet as possible! Do that at present. Tell them now! We are through for the present.

“I am taking the liberty of writing you these few lines informing you of the splendid service and the result achieved by me through the readings and treatment of the Cayce Institution. I assure you that I have benefited very much by their method and course of treatment, and advices given me on several occasions.

“Recently I was suffering with a severe attack of the heart, and although I had received immediate treatment from several physicians in my locality, the real benefit that accrued to me was by the immediate reading and response from the hospital by wire. The reading and the advice therein given was strictly followed out by me and resulted beneficially to myself.

“I desire to express to you, as well as to the authorities of the hospital, my sincerest thanks and appreciation for the many kindnesses and their treatments of me, and want to assure them of my hearty appreciation of same.
