GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body. You will answer any questions I may ask you regarding same:
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here.
-
Now, we find there are abnormal conditions, and these may be corrected if taken in time, though allowed to become exaggerated, or not checked their normal way and manner, these may bring on complications that would prove very detrimental to the body.
-
We have some specific conditions that have been produced by an overtaxing of portions of the functioning organism. We have specific conditions that have been in that position and condition - and are as yet - that add to this condition, rather than being able to adjust same through normal forces and manners.
-
These, then, are the conditions as we find that need the correction:
-
First, in times back we find there were properties (medicinal properties) taken into the system that were too strong for the system to assimilate without direct action upon the mucus producing coating of the stomach, in the lower end, and in the jejunum. This, as we see, produced then lacerations. Following this, we find there were those exertions in a physical manner wherein there were certain subligations as were produced in the lumbar and lower dorsal region. This subligation causes impingement of nerves to portions of the digestion, especially to the lower end of the stomach. A portion of this subligation divides, affecting both upper and lower portion - pyloric and cardiac. Hence we find that the digestion has been disturbed, not in the way and manner as to produce so much indigestion, as would apparently be from the conditions, but rather the orifices in both ends of the stomach have become lacerated or ulcerated - and conditions as we find that show in the mucus of the system, especially in the mouth, and along the throat. These are reflexes, and, as it were, signs of existing conditions. Also we find from same, in the capillary circulation, those evidences of impurities in the system not being eliminated through their normal channels - the heaviness to the feet, the tendency for perspiration, and towards soreness in the toes - between the toes - produced by this unbalanced circulation and by poisons being left in the extremities by the division between capillary and internal circulation, or the change from the arterial to the vein circulation.
-
In the general condition, then, we find these as those to be corrected at the present time.
-
To correct same, first we would have those conditions in the cerebro-spinal system corrected - especially those in the lumbar and dorsal region - osteopathically would we have these corrected, taking at least six to eight such adjustments and regular and full treatments, for the treatments in the correction of the subligations are as necessary as the adjustments. While the adjustments alleviate and allow the free action of nerves, the tissue as has been involved with same needs stimulation for the inner or extremities of nerve reaction.
-
Taking in the system, from the time this begins, those properties as will be found in this: Take the small quantity of Saffron Tea. This to supply the system rather than the water. Then, as we would see, small quantities, but taken often. Be made as this proportion: One to forty. One ounce of the Saffron Bark to forty ounces of water, steamed or heated for at least fifteen to twenty minutes, see? This should be taken as the water.
-
The foods - never too much meats. Rather vegetables - though meat JUICES or broth may be taken.
-
Keep this up, and we will find this will correct these conditions, alleviating the condition in the stomach, in the intestines, overcoming the tendency towards constipation, and that as is seen in the system - correcting the circulation through the correction of those subligations - bringing the normal flow in elimination and assimilation for the body. Do that. Ready for questions.
-
(Q) What causes the itching of the scalp, and what should be done to relieve same? How can the baldness be prevented? (A) Correct the circulation and we will find this will be overcome. The baldness and the tendency towards same (though we find apparently sufficient of the hair starts and then stops again) would be overcome by using white vaseline, cutting same with the very little alcohol added to plain water - one - two to three drops, added to five to ten ounces of water.
-
(Q) What makes the body nervous after a hard day’s work? What remedy? (A) Just this as has been given - the overtaxing through the nerve condition, see?
-
(Q) Am bothered with my right side at times. What is the trouble and how should it be remedied? (A) Is it a wonder, with the condition as exists in the duodenum and in the intestinal tract, that he is bothered with the right side? All this whole portion is affected, see? Do as we have given, if we would correct these conditions.
-
We are through for the present.
