This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 17th day of July, 1928, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [3743].

Time of Reading 12:10 A. M. Eastern Standard Time.

1. GD: You will have before you the information given for [3743] on the afternoon of July 9, 1928. You will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.

2. EC: Yes, we have the information as transcribed here, and - as seen - this in the greater part is fully understood by the body; some having been put into action, or being acted upon by the body. The body finds some WONDERINGS in self as to the result, or the variation in the approach of individuals to self in this activity.

3. As respecting individuals that the body was warned concerning, these are more definitely those as influence the Cincinnati connection, and who are in a manner the ones that would prevent the association of body with those connected with other institution that would be bought or connection made with.

4. In the connection with the Detroit people, these would be WELL to interest: The Dodge interests. Rather the John family than the other, or those of Page or Rice.

Mr. [3743] … Trust Co., …, N.C.

My dear Mr. [3743]:-

We had yours of the 14th, and you no doubt now have the information which was gotten in the next reading. I’m certainly hoping this assisted you to a better understanding of the information first given. I’m glad you found even a portion of this worth while. This like everything else, Mr. [3743] has to be understood. It’s like an individual learning to drive an automobile, or use any other of the modern conveniences. Until we familiarize ourselves with the operation itself, we are not able to understand how it works - and THEN we may not know how it’s done. As for instance with the radio. It works, but how it works nobody knows, any more than we know what electricity is. We may learn how to apply it in our daily lives. That we can do if we go about it in an honest and sincere way and manner.

I’m certainly glad to know that Mrs. […] is interested in our our work. I’m sure Dr. [4693] will talk with her regarding her reading, and possibly after seeing or knowing of the information in several, she can draw some conclusions. I only hope that sometime in the near future you will have the opportunity to see the work. Then you will feel still different, I am sure.

Our work on the hospital is going along very nicely, which we are mighty proud of. We are hoping you are going to have the opportunity to visit Virginia Beach, see our work, what we are trying to do - and I’m sure you will be interested in the outcome of the institution.

Mr. Edgar Cayce, Association of National Investigators, Virginia Beach, Virginia

Dear Mr. Cayce:

Yours of the 20th instant received, also reading of the 17th instant, which I have found very interesting and helpful. If it is not asking too much, I would like to have a reading on the Cincinnati matter, as to just what the influence is there and what procedure I should take to correct the situation.

Enclosed please find check for $20.00, which is in payment of the reading of the 17th instant, also the one requested herein.

I hope that I shall be able to visit you some time soon, am working very hard and it is difficult to get away. Mr. Kahn is expected here next week and I hope to see him at that time.
