This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 105th Street & Ocean, Virginia Beach, Va., this 9th day of July, 1931, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [3747].

Time of Reading 11:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. St. Petersburg, Fla. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3747]. Now we do not find that there has been the improvement in the physical conditions of the body as should have been expected, yet we find the administrations of the low electrical vibration have been ATTEMPTED, as it were, to be used in a proper way and manner; yet, will they follow those precautions more closely, we will find that these SHOULD - and WILL - give a desired result for the body.

2. As we find in this, as the direction in this particular condition, and this particular individual:

When the appliance is made ready, with the connections to the cells, and the ends are attached to the one plate, as is attached in the dorsal center as outlined, the feet should be in the water, and this should be kept in such a manner that there is the close contact with the body; of course next to the skin, and - to be sure - the feet bare.

4. There should also be those manipulative forces as will enable the nerve ends, that have been hindered by the form of the conditions - or attacks in the nerve centers, or stroke - to feel out, or find rejuvenation in their connections between the organs THEMSELVES as affected for assimilation and for the reaction of the central nervous system to the brain forces themselves, through both the sympathetic and cerebro-spinal coordination. Will these be followed more closely, more consistently and more persistently, we will find there will be the desired results. Do that. Ready for questions.

5. (Q) Any further suggestions for the improvement of the body? (A) Be mindful of the diet, as the body has administered to others in their afflictions - as the body has directed others in the diet, as well as in the hydrotherapy effects of water upon the body, with the vibratory forces of manipulations or of neuropathy in its effect - so may the body direct for SELF those same conditions as will be beneficial. Do that.

Dear Mr. Cayce;

Thanks for the reading which I received several days ago. I don’t quite understand by my following the instructions in use of the battery more closely. I followed them just as directed. The ONLY exception being in rubbing the spine with olive oil as directed, as I live alone I just had to do this as best I could, but even then it was only a portion of the dorsal spine perhaps I may not have been able to reach. I also wish to report that I took the treatments nightly, without exception.

I await your instructions as to recharging the battery. I shall be absent from St. Petersburg for two weeks, but intend to recommence treatments on my return.

R2. 7/30/31 DIRECTIONS FOR RECHARGING WET CELL BATTERY [for Mr. [3747] - by Gray Salter.]:

First, jar must be emptied, then thoroughly cleansed and dried. Next, take one and one-half gallon of uncontaminated rain water, preferably caught in porcelain or glass container. This should not come in contact with any metal whatsoever. After putting water into jar, add chemicals by numbers - One, Two and Three. After adding Two to the solution, let it set for about two minutes, and then add number Three, the metal cuttings. Then let it set again for about two minutes before adding number Four. After adding Four, stir the solution thoroughly until the black powder becomes thoroughly mixed into the solution. Replace top on jar and fasten connections to terminal on top of the battery, being sure to keep the positive and negative sides straight. The battery is then ready for use again.
