UNIVERSAL OIL & PRODUCING CO. Fourth and First National Bank Building Nashville, Tenn.

Mr. David E. Kahn 2154 McAlpin Bldg., New York, N.Y.

Dear Mr. Kahn,

While you and Mr. Cayce were in Nashville Mr. Cayce gave me two readings - one of which was on some oil property in this state. I was partly familiar with this oil territory and at first it seemed that Mr. Cayce was reading my mind; he was describing it so accurately, although I knew he had never seen the property. He was describing a gate through which I had to pass as being broken down; also a ravine just beyond that and a small spring branch. I knew nothing of these latter things.

Since you left Nashville I have been up to see the territory and found the gate was not down. On inquiring from the owner I found the gate was down the day the reading was given and was reparied the same evening. I found the ravine and dips just as Mr. Cayce described and am now making financial arrangements to develop this property. I have utmost confidence in you and Mr. Cayce and believe this will be one of the greatest oil territories in this section. Knowing that Mr. Cayce was entirely ignorant of the surroundings of this place, it seemed wonderful to me to find every detail, without exception, just as he described it.

So far I have found the phosphate reading [3777-3 - See Phoenix Phosphate Co. letter 12/13/20.] just as Mr. Cayce said an I am expecting great things of this.
