SUMNER EXCITED AGAIN OVER OIL
Gallatin, Tenn., Jan. 27 [1921?] - (Special) - Excitement has again broken out in Sumner county over the oil situation. It is reported that drillers struck oil a few days ago on the land of Martin Doss in the Twelfth district near Pleasant Grove. The production per day has not as yet been reported.
Henry Orman of Gallatin, manager of the Normandy Oil Company of Bowling Green, Ky., reports that his company has just brought in a well, the oil shooting more than a hundred feet above the derrick. This well is 150-barrel capacity.
