This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at Phillips Hotel, Dayton, Ohio, this 1st day of November, 1923.

Time of Reading 11:25 A. M.

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. We have had this before you see. Now, we find the conditions in this body are much of the same nature as were conditions when we had them here before. There is this difference in the conditions. In the first cervical center, where the connection or between the other nerve centers and that of the branch of sensory nerves that go to make up the governing of circulation in auditory forces, shows more enlivenment and better condition for the producing of the co-ordination between the nerves that govern the auditory forces in the organs thus affected. As we have given, the affect that is in the system is more from the effect of the sensory system being affected by sympathetic than of the forces being in the nature of that in material way, for these may be overcome, when that of the direct would not be overcome in total. This, with the proper vibrations and the directing of the nerve energy thus produced in the system, will, if carried out in the proper manner, with the developing cycles of this body, bring normal conditions to the sensory organs themselves.

  2. The charge as prepared for the body, with the change in condition as is found in the body at the present time, would be changed only in the place from which vibration is given to the system. Instead of connection being to one plate for vibration, the positive pole should be of the larger plate and the negative to the smaller plate, and each attached to the body for one hour each evening, - the negative at the first cervical vertebra and the positive and larger plate just above and to the right, just a little space, see, of the umbilicus. The direction of the nerve action in the system with this vibration should be directed by the neuropath massage or the gentle massage of the masseur, as given through osteopathic or neuropathic forces, - if directed correctly, see. In the deeper nerve centers, we have these conditions, so in this manner the direction of the manipulation or massage to the body shall be directed from the 2nd dorsal, the 5th, 4th and 3rd cervical. We have those branches of the cerebro-spinal nerve system that, in conjunction with the action of sympathetic and peunereal nerve, direct the circulation in blood supply and in nerve nutriment to the organs of the sensory system from the physical attributes of the body. In other words, the direction of energy for the circulation of the system to gain the necessary forces for the sensory organs to gain physical nutriment from the body are reached from these centers. The nerves then that come through the capillary circulation and the action of same through sympathetic nerves traversing this portion of the body, must co-ordinate in their action when they enter the brain and the exterior portions that govern the cochlea in the ear, see, - the drum portion receiving as much distribution of circulation from exterior circulation as from interior, hence to carry to tentrens [tendons?] of the nerve force to push in and give the enlivenment, co-ordination as produced by this vibration is as necessary as producing the vibration. Do that. We will find within the second cycle the vibration produced to make this body physically normal through the ear and the action of those nerves and muscles governing the vocal cords and the sensory organism of this portion of the body. Do that. Do as we have given in the vibrations. Make the change as we have given. In that of the manipulation, massage or neuropathic forces, give that as we have given, - we will find we will bring this body to its normal development. This may be sure if followed out. We are through.
