This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Va. Beach, Va., this 25th day of Jan., 1933, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [391], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading … Store, 11:15 to 11:25 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Ala. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [391]; this we have had before.

  2. Now, as we find, in general the conditions are very good. There are still some reflex conditions arising from time to time, from the strains that have existed in the cerebro-spinal system. These are GRADUALLY - when the exercises and the treatments are taken being eliminated; but these will continue to produce - until they ARE eliminated - the disturbance in the caecum area, as well as cause those returning conditions of the digestive system being out of order, as well as making it easy for the body to contract cold. For, as indicated, the liver becomes involved, as does the blood supply, making for the poor eliminations in the circulation.

  3. There should be kept more of an excess of eliminations through the alimentary canal.

  4. These strains also to the genitive system, that have made for the distress or for those fearful reactions for the body, are in the main produced from those same strains in the cerebrospinal system.

  5. We would find that, with the sweats and massage, and with keeping the eliminations in a better condition, the greater part of this may be eliminated entirely.

  6. Such massage may be from the thorough Swedish massage, or that known as the ordinary rubdown in Turkish Bath, or that given by the neuropath or osteopath. These would be the better for the body.

  7. To INSURE that there is not the concurrence or the strain producing any STRICTURE [stricture of the ureter or Hunner’s stricture?] in the organs OF the genitive system, we would use those injections of the Lysol - one to three. This will prevent any of the tissue being involved in such a manner as for coagulation to take place and produce stricture, from a strain.

  8. Ready for questions.

  9. (Q) What eliminants are best now for alimentary canal? (A) These have been outlined for the body. Any that will make the bowels move!

  10. (Q) Any other advice for this body at this time? (A) These had better be done, else we will continue to have trouble with the back, the heart, the digestive system, and the feet. We would follow these suggestions.

  11. We are through with this reading.
