This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 1st day of September, 1930, in accordance with request made by his parents, through Mrs. […] and Mr. [317] and Mrs. [267].
[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]
Time of Reading 11:10 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Vermont. (Physical Suggestion)
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3998].
-
Now, we find conditions are serious as respecting the physical conditions of the body; the activities of those forces as tend to reduce the vitality of the body as respecting the blood supply and the ability to produce resistance against those of the destructive forces in same.
-
We will find that there must be those measures taken as will be rather severe, would we make responses in the physical resistances as must be applied for the benefits of physical conditions.
-
We would, then, administer in the beginning those of small quantities of Syrup of Squill. Five to ten minims may be given every three to four hours, until same acts as an active force in the cardiac activities - and WITH this response we would administer then, hypodermically, that of the iron - with those of camphor - as will make the greater resistance; or this may be added with very minute quantities of morphia, for the rest and stimuli to nervous system, as well as to the blood supply.
-
In this also we would add, that much may be accomplished in the prayer of those whom the body, mentally and physically, is dependent upon.
-
Then, we would wire: Give small quantities of the Syrup of Squill, five to ten minims every two to three hours; reactions shown, administer that of iron and camphor, with a very minimum of morphia for the resuscitation of forces. Then, with the responses, in three to five days, there may be given other information through these sources. Ready for questions. We are through for the present.
