Time of Reading Set bet. 3:30 to 4:30 P. M. Eastern War Time. …, Miss.

  1. GC: You will have before you the entity [4001], born November 12, 1888, in Jerseyville, Ill., who seek information, advice and guidance in a Mental and Spiritual Reading, which will be of help in the developing of her psychic faculties and in the meeting of problems arising in her mental and emotional life. You will then answer the questions she submits, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the inquiring mind: [4001].

  3. In giving the spiritual and mental counsel for the entity, much of that which has been indicated should be a consistent activity in the experience of the entity. Mental and spiritual attitudes, mental and spiritual aspirations, then, must be taken into consideration.

  4. First there should be the interpretation of the universal forces within the individual life. First the judgments are to be the measures or the means whereby the entity may apply or attain to that consciousness within itself, as to how and where it may attain to a greater consciousness of the God within.

  5. Let’s begin then with these: first read the 5th verse of the 19th chapter of Exodus. Then let’s analyze this, as to the import of this in the individual life of the entity. As indicated, let it be as measures or means whereby the entity may gain the better concept of what it means for these spiritual forces, or God, to be conscious, mindful of the entity in its endeavors to be a channel of blessings to others.

  6. This may be accomplished through the very study of the Word itself, and thus the entity forms ideas, and ideals as to what is the motivating influence in the entity’s experience, which prompts it to offer itself, as it were, through the information which has been indicated, in its relation to things, conditions, about the body itself.

  7. Then, when these have been well analyzed, well organized in the heart and mind of the body, it should be understood as to how these are to be changed one with another.

  8. As these are made manifest then, make application of Deuteronomy 30. For it is in self, the design, the example, that the knowledge of the relationship is indicated, as to how personally one may apply those tenets and truths deep within self.

  9. Then as the entity goes about to act, to apply, to use the abilities which are found latent and manifest within self, know as has been given, He will watch over and with thee in thy activities daily.

  10. Then as these are applied read or study, not merely to know them by heart, but rather the spirit, the import of how far-reaching such activities are to be.

  11. Then present self in that manner of accepting that presented in St. John 14, 15, 16, 17. As the body reads, as the body meditates upon this, there will be found that need for the activities which have brought about this present conflict in a manner, within self. Then as ye apply it, let thy activities be that there is no question in self, as well as in those ye attempt to aid in bringing an at onement with the divine within. We will find in this manner, as the entity meets the problems within its own self, there is understood the greater problem is in self and selfish indulgences; eliminating them from body, mind, purpose and aim of the individual.

  12. And do that.

  13. Ready for questions.

  14. (Q) What is necessary for me to have a complete understanding of my strength and weakness as an entity? (A) It would be well if the entity present itself to a student of human nature. The activities in this direction will give the assurance needed, as will be the experiences, as it meets others in the same attitude of seeking to be the channel of blessings to others. Not in a selfish manner. For as thoroughly understood, ye should present your body a living sacrifice, wholly acceptable unto God, as a workman not ashamed, rightly divining the words of truth and keeping all which is trash out of the mind.

  15. (Q) How may I align my purpose and effort with the ONE? (A) As just indicated, if ye would have peace, ye must prepare peace within thine own body and mind, or else ye find the outward expressions couldn’t hold long to that “too good to be true.”

  16. (Q) What habit or practice, if any, in most detrimental to my physical well-being? To my mental and spiritual? (A) These are not as faults but, as has been pointed out, there is too oft that tendency for condemning without passing judgment.

  17. (Q) What is the purpose and plan for me in this incarnation? (A) This should come more from the direct Life Reading questions. Yet these have been presented and, as the body prepares these, there will come the greater interpretation to the body.

  18. We are through.
