This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 23rd day of September, 1929, in accordance with request made by self and those in charge.

1. EC: These conditions, we find, are much on the improve with this body. With the relief of congestion in system, by producing more activity through the alimentary canal - in two to three days afterward we would begin with DEEPER manipulations, especially in the lumbar and sacral; also as high as the lower dorsal, to relieve pressure on kidneys. Also the increase in the flushing of the alimentary canal should be alkalin in its reaction, or with Petrolagar - as for same - use small quantities of Glyco-Thymoline.

2. We would also give the properties - after four days - in the carbon ash as has been prepared. [See 165-15, Par. 11-A, on 9/21/29.] Prepare, or give, in this manner: Weigh a grain - that is, a grain of the ash, not a single grain separate, but the apothecary grain - see? Then divide in half, and into half again - see? This be given in half a glass of water - that is, one of these quarters in half a glass of water - every OTHER day, one dose given, see? Do not begin this until after the system has been cleansed, and after the treatments have been begun more DEEPLY - or deeper - through the sacral, lumbar and lower dorsal. We would begin also with the gradual pushing down of the bone in the hip, so that the MUSCULAR forces - as they are relaxed through the sacral and lumbar - may be brought into play, near their normal or correct position.

3. The ultra violet ray as should be given, we would give at least twice or three times each week, dependent upon the response the deeper manipulation creates with same, for it WILL RELIEVE the tendency of inflammation - from manipulation, see? but do not come closer to the body, nor of a longer duration, than has been experienced.

4. (Q) Should anything additional be done for the cold? (A) Just been given!

5. (Q) Is violet ray room beneficial? If so, how often and for how long? (A) Any period of time, here, would be very good for this body. Be very good with this, or in the violet ray room - that the oxidizer, or that that will cleanse the room and give more oxygen in through the amplification of the rays, be additional.
