This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., this 11th day of September, 1941, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [410], Associate Member of the Ass”n.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 3:45 to 3:55 P. M. Eastern Daylight Savings Time. …, Ala.

  1. GC: You will give the physical conditions of this body at the present time, with special reference to the hip condition resulting from a fall last Monday. Tell us if the hip is dislocated; giving suggestions for corrective measures, answering the questions that may be asked.

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [410].

  3. As we find, while there has been a great deal of stress upon the ligaments, it is not a dislocation in the true sense. For, the wrench to the head of the femur - or the bone to the hip joint - did not throw it out of place. However, the head or the tendon there is badly bruised, as also is the pelvic axis.

  4. This condition should be reduced by the applications especially of massage, and the osteopathic adjusting of same. Also rub the area with a saturated solution of Apple Vinegar and Salt.

  5. This as we find will bring the better conditions for the body.

  6. Ready for questions.

  7. (Q) Should the Vinegar and Salt be rubbed on, or put on a cloth and left on? (A) It should be massaged into the area, rather than being applied and left on - for this would be too severe. Massage it on at least twice a day.

But have the adjustments made first, in the hip joint and in the lumbar axis - osteopathically, see?

  1. We are through for the present.

Copy to Self ” ” Ass’n file

Wired: HIP JOINT LUMBAR PELVIC AXIS BADLY BRUISED BUT NOT TRUE DISLOCATION. HAVE ADJUSTMENTS OSTEOPATHICALLY MASSAGING TWICE DAILY WITH SATURATED SOLUTION APPLE VINEGAR AND SALT.
