This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at Phillips Hotel, Room 115, Dayton, Ohio, this 4th day of December, 1923, in accordance with request made by himself - Mr. [4121].

1. EC: Now, we find this soul and spirit, as we have at present, entered this entity, took possession of this physical body, early in the morning, and the conditions about the whole region and of those affecting this body, for its environment and development was good for the conditions that will come to this body, as in relation to position of the planets, and their force and factors in the ruling of the destiny, irrespective of the will force though, for the will force we find there is much developing in this entity, for with the experiences as he has endured and experienced has meant, and will mean, much in the present plane development.

2. As to the planets, we find these in the heavens at the time, and, as we see, this comes at a time when change is near, for the meridian of many influences, in various portions of the planetary system, has its relation to the body, and to the earth, from which this body should gain the most of its worldly goods, sustenance, and forces to build in the life giving and building forces, those of the higher forces being the greater rule of the life. The Sun’s forces, with that of the other planets, being the greater forces in the life in its developing, yet that force that may out short the influence of the physical, unless the will guides aright in the usage and application of the forces that deal with this entity. Those forces as received from Jupiter, Venus, Mars, Saturn, Uranus, in the distance.

3. Mercury, the constellation of the Scorpio, and of those of Pisces, all bear influence in this development upon this plane. Hence, there are many various stages through which this force will be felt, those of direct influence being in Venus and Saturn, with the influence rather than affliction of Jupiter, Mercury, Neptune, afar, and the constellations of Castor and Apollo, for these will give and lend their influences in this developing.

4. Then we will give as will has already worked toward the development thus far. In that of Saturn’s, with Venus’ forces, we find the love of the beautiful, and of the better forces in domestic life, both moral and soul, yet ever holding self from the union of such influence by that of the Mercury forces, yet under the influence of Jupiter’s forces in the coming year, when Mars will again approach the nearer conjunction of earth’s influence, these will show more of the financial and home ties for this individual. That is; he is apt to propose in June and marry in October, you see.

5. In this influence of Mercury’s forces, we find that much of those that bring the earthbound influences in the past days, yet with the change in the conditions, which will begin in the second week of the coming year, those of Jupiter bringing the strongest influence in the life, and the assistance as reached through these give much of this world’s goods.

6. As to characteristics in the individual forces, we find as these:

7. One given to the love of Beauty. One given to consider the higher elements of beauty in all force, yet never allowing same to rule the head, and one given to have the higher ideals in all walks and stages of life.

8. One that will find, through many influences, those that have and will bring questionable things and conditions to the scope of their vision, yet one that should well understand that these must only be used as the understanding of the higher, the inner, the better, the greater, the larger forces of development in this plane.

9. One whose morals forces are beyond reproach.

10. One whose spirituality is reached through the influences of its individual development through the various stages. Ruled in this by the Sun’s forces, afflicted by Saturn, kept afar by Mars, but through whom much means or finances come to the individual. That is, aftermath or preception of before thoughts.

11. One whose force toward those soul, spiritual and psychic forces will be reached in and through the coming six to ten years, beginning in this June, just past that 23 you see, reaching ‘til 33.

12. One whose greater force lies in the study of minutia, or part in every walk or phase of life, though one that will find many, many, changes to those conditions that will bring the means of the bettr forces, and of the reimbursements for spent forces.

13. One who will find greater force of physical through that of developing the psychic, soul and spirit forces in others, and in self.

14. One whose greater influence lies over those that are born in June, March and January, of the years near his own.

15. One whose will’s influence over these conditions have brought to self the better elements of the spiritual forces.

16. One high-minded, though spiritually minded even in will force.

17. One that will do well to keep the will strong toward the mark of the higher calling, as is set in Him, the Giver of all good and perfect gifts, that this may be made a part of those forces, both through will and through the influences of those whom it contacts, and has contacted, and develop those also, to put their trust in Him, who is the Way, the Truth, the Light everlasting that guides on to that home beyond that which seek, and is not far away if they will only give of themselves through these influences that this entity may bring to bear upon those individual’s soul and entity.

18. As to the appearances that this entity, or person, has had upon this plane, we find they have much to do with the present individual and individuality, as expressed in this present entity, [4121], we are speaking of.

19. First after this, going back, in the Court of Louis the 15th, when about this body there were all that debauchery of that Court. This body held itself above those by whom it was surrounded, and was ever defender of those whom by intrigues were brought under the influence of this rake, and in this, though, there was in part two conditions as this body individually often finds within its own soul’s thoughts, that in that condition give much to its own development.

20. Before this in the Trojan forces, when the defense of the City was at hand, this body then was that individual who stood in the gate defying those from without, and in that bore the brunt of those that would destroy their own city in which this entity then claimed as the home, you see, though not of that people. The name then we find was Ixnoz, (interpretation) the defense of the fair, the defense of those that would give the forces to the world for developing the future age.

21. We are through for the present.

R3. GD’s note: Later I discovered that the above quotes [see Par. 1—3 of 4121-2 Text reproduced at 4121-2, Par. B4] are word for word from Reading 5717-5 in which [4121]‘s former incarnations were briefed. So the entire Life Reading, 4121-2, is still missing. I remember that Mr. [4121] was told that he was of the French Guard, the one in particular who had charge of the child [294] - and both lost their lives while [4121] was defending [294] and others under his care. See 294-8, Par. 18 in re French incarnation.
