This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 2nd day of December, 1932, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [4125], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. [4125] and husband, and Nannie E. Modlin.]

Time of Reading Newcastle Hotel, 3:25 to 3:35 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Va. Beach, Va. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [4125]; this we have had before.

  2. Now, as we find, in the present there are those reactions from the system attempting to adjust itself in the impulse with the circulation to the upper portions of the body.

  3. It has been given that these conditions may be expected to arise at the first periods of adjustments, and to be more severe than at some of the other periods; but as the system is adjusted to those changes that are brought about there will be made the coordination of the impulse and the circulation to the head, and their reactions to all of the system.

  4. That there is the reduction and reactions also from the lack of stimuli to the nerve systems (that have been taken) is also complimentary, or in addition those causes of the character of reaction in the present; but as these adjustments assume their proper relationships in the nerves’ reaction, in the blood supply, in the nervous forces of the system, better and better will be the responses to the system.

  5. If there will be given now, in the next two or three days, small quantities of Gold Chloride with Soda, this will aid in equalizing the effects that are being created by the adjustments in system. This is not as medicinal properties but as a correctant for producing coordination in those portions of the system that are brought in tautness by the nerve reaction. Prepare in this manner:

  6. To 15 ounces of distilled water add 15 grains of Chloride of Gold.

  7. To 10 ounces of distilled water add 5 grains Bi-carbonate of Soda.

  8. When the dose is taken twice each day, only 1 drop of the Chloride of Gold and 2 drops of the Soda solution, in half a glass of water. This we would take night and morning.

  9. Ready for questions.

  10. (Q) Before or after the meal? (A) Before the meal and upon retiring.

  11. (Q) How long will it be before she gets some relief? (A) The relief is gradually being created, as we have given, but these REACTIONS must be expected until there is at least fifteen to sixteen treatments and adjustments.

  12. (Q) Is there anything to do at the present, immediately, by those surrounding the body, that would bring help? (A) Only the lessening of the tautness that occurs in the throat, head and neck.

  13. (Q) Any other advice that you might give at the present time? (A) We would keep those treatments and adjustments in the manners that have been given for the betterment of the conditions.

  14. (Q) Should the body have a treatment today? (A) It SHOULD!

  15. (Q) Any advice regarding diet? (A) Just those things that will be assimilated by the body.

  16. (Q) Any other advice at the present time? (A) Do these, as we have given.

  17. That is all the questions.

  18. We are through for the present.
