1. EC: In this body here, we have the effects of a form of bacilli that has lodged within the system in times back. Especially is this so through the generatory organs. This enters into the system, giving the effect in this portion of the body, as affected through the lumbar and into the circulation and nerve force, coming from this condition in the body. This is from the fourth lumbar.

2. If you would remove these conditions here, we have first a reflex condition affecting the head, eyes and the whole sensory organism, we would give into the system that which would cause assimilation through the lymphatics, so that it may be thrown off. When we stimulate the lymphatic circulation, this will be thrown off by the liver, kidneys and respiratory organs. As this stimulation is given to the lymphatics, then we will absorb and throw off this condition.

3. We would give into the system this: 1/20 grain of soda (Bromide of soda) added to 1/120 grain of strychnine, taken into the system every 5th or 6th day. Take three drops of soda and gold: Chloride of Gold 15 grains, Sodium Chloride 23 grains, added to 15 ounces of water. Take five to ten drops every fifth day for three or four weeks. We will find this condition removed.

R1. 9/22/23 Wife [4280]‘s letter: ”…I have just learned through Dr. Layne that you were in Alabama, so am trying to reach you by letter before you leave Selma. Have been wanting to have you see […] [she requested check readings for herself, her little daughter [4281], and her husband]… See his [4283]‘s condition now, especially see his heart and spine. He suffers a great deal with the lower part of spine. His circulation is not good, especially from 2:00 in the morning until 6:00. He cannot sleep after 3:00 A.M. in the mornings. Some doctors think he has heart trouble and have told him so. Please see his whole body and describe treatment he needs. Should he leave off all coffee and cigars?…”

R2. 10/18/23 Mr. Arthur H. Lammers’ letter from Dayton, Ohio to Mr. [4283]‘s wife:

Dear Mrs. [4280]:

Your letter of September 22nd addressed to Mr. Cayce, has just come to our attention somewhat delayed, on account of Mr. Cayce’s travels.

It will be possible to have three readings for you by Mr. Cayce, on Wednesday, October 31st, one reading would be at 9:30 A.M., one at 12:30 noon and one at 3:30 P.M. Central time.

Will you kindly advise immediately upon receipt of this letter if this date and hours will be suitable to your convenience?

R3. 10/27/23 Wife [4280]‘s letter verifying appointment: ”…Mr. [4283] will be in … Please see if there is any trouble with his heart and what causes the pain and soreness in his back. Describe the treatment he needs for his back. Do his teeth need to be removed and which ones? He has poor circulation after two o’clock at night; is this due in any way to his heart’s action? Please see what he needs for his circulation…”
