This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at Phillips Hotel, Room 115, Dayton, Ohio, this 31st day of March, 1924, in accordance with request made by self - [4471].

1. LS: You will answer the following questions: What causes the ringing in the ears? Is the treatment the body takes correct? Can this body be restored to its normal condition?

2. EC: Now, we find the conditions in this body are improved from that when we had this before. While we have conditions in the system that have become at times, and for a period of time, seemingly accentuated rather than assisted; that in the system producing the condition is being gradually corrected, and when the system adjusts itself, and the eliminations are set properly in the system by the alleviation of pressure caused in portions of system, the body will become in the normal forces.

3. The condition in the tonsils and the pressure on those centers that produce the disturbance to the sensory system and to the auditory nerve force, specifically, will, with the incentives and adjustments of eliminations, be overcome.

4. The condition in the teeth or antrum, and directed or the distress coming through these needs of local treatments. The center or that producing the cause coming from that as given. In this only accentuating the condition by the condition left in circulation by non-elimination in the proper channels.

5. Do as we have given, consistently, persistently, and we will find we will bring the correct equilibrium for and to this body, [4471].

6. The condition in the ear or auditory forces should be treated by removing of the stress and strain as will show in the circulation, nerve center and nerve incentive by that as given.

7. Do that.

Enclosed you will find that gotten this afternoon, as per your letter of the 25th. I believe you will find most of these questions answered fully, and, naturally, from experiences of others, I am in hopes correctly. I am sure that you can see a difference by this time by carrying out the suggestions as given, and am very much in hopes that you are feeling a great deal better.

Trusting you will let us hear from you from time to time, assuring you we desire to see you get the results others have gotten, and of course you can only do this by keeping in touch and finding out from time to time if the correct thing is being done.

R2. 5/14/24 [4471]‘s letter to EC: “You have asked that I let you know as to my progress in the treatment as prescribed in the two readings (March 4th and March 31st) given me. Am very sorry that I cannot report favorably. I have taken the osteopathic and the violet ray treatments very faithfully and hopefully - and regret to say that I am no better. My knees creak just as badly and my ears ring just as loudly as when I started. I still have that awful tired and exhausted feeling. Feet and legs in same condition as when I began the treatments.
