1. EC: Yes, here we have the body here, we have had this body before. [No record of earlier reading.] The conditions as we find in this body, Miss [4535] of whom we are speaking, have to do more with the nerve systems throughout the body, especially the action of the cerebro-spinal with the sympathetic. This is shown especially in the junction between the cerebro-spinal and the sympathetic nerve systems. We find it here at the fifth cervical, that is along the neck just before we begin with the entrance of those ganglia that affect the dorsals, or those to which the ribs are joined, and along the lower dorsals, showing the effect between the cerebro-spinal and the sympathetic, and especially in their entrance or conjunction with those that come to the digestive tract, so at the time food is taken into the body, it feels full at once, and the body becomes hot and perspiration breaks out. Organic condition of nerves. The nerves are not easily controlled and need assistance to be taken into the system to assist it to operate through the natural channels. We also find the conjunction of these have affected the sensory system, and the effect is shown in the eyes. This can be corrected within the system itself, so that the effect will be to the entire body.

2. We would take this into the system to be of assistance to the nerve forces:

Valerian…2 grains, Senna…2 grains, Iodide of Potassium…1/2 grain.

3. This is to be taken once each day. Then we would treat the body along the whole of the dorsal region (with vibrator electrically driven) to relax the entire system, so that we would give relief to those nerve centers along this portion of body. This should be given only just before retiring, but we should be very persistent in the treatment of this portion of the body. Especially all along the spine and lower dorsals and lower cervicals, that is across the shoulders just above the shoulder blade and extending to the point of the shoulder or along the edge of the clavicle. Then the exercise should be taken with this, or after this is given, that is vibration of the head and neck to strengthen these muscles that have become relaxed. Use the sponge on this portion of the body and next to the skin when treating the body so that we bring full circulation to this portion of the body. The medicinal properties will only be taken once a day in the morning and evening if the body is very tired and worn. When we relieve the nerve forces, we will change the digestive forces, for they are in unison. Keep as much out of doors as possible.

4. (Q) What is the dose of this prescription? (A) The prescription as we gave is a dose. This will be made from three to five doses at the time, taken in capsules - three grain capsules. We are through.
