EC: Yes, we have the body here. There are some changes in the body since we had it here before. These are the conditions as we find them at this time. The blood supplying force throughout the system is deficient in its quantity rather than quality - that is we have an insufficient supply of the capillary corpuscles to give the full building force in the body. Much of this condition is still produced by the strain on the nerve centers and hence the elimination becomes taxed, both through the capillary circulation and through the functioning of the digestive organs in its assimilation. The refractory nerves of the torso portion of the body becomes strained producing poor assimilation and poor elimination, hence the condition of the blood supply and forces in both the white and red blood cells.
-
The nervous system we find in much the same condition as when we last had this body here. There are some centers that show the taxation under which the body labors, they being impinioned in their action by the condition of the system, as well as the physical condition of the body at those centers themselves. We find this at the fourth and fifth cervicals, not as much at the upper dorsals as we had them before. At the ninth and tenth dorsals there are still some lesions, partially formed from this strained condition of the nerve forces in the body. The condition between the sympathetic and cerebro spinal centers are above the co-ordinating forces of the normal body. The action of the organs of the sensory system are somewhat changed in their functioning. The overtaxed condition of the nerves keep some irritation both to the organs of the sensory system and the circulation, especially in the elimination of the used forces from the system. Hence the liver at time becomes surcharged with the condition as is present there, as does also the taxation of the spleen by the used nerve energy, especially in the plasmatic cells of the brain forces and its blood supply.
-
The organs themselves are very good at present in their functioning. The lung supplying forces show only the condition of the blood itself - those of the digestive tract and the pneumogastric are overtaxed - hence the body often finds that a feeling of hunger appears, but when it begins to eat and after the first two or three mouthfuls it is through. We find that the glands through the digestive tract do not secrete sufficient, hence the condition through the lower intestines and the colon itself. The functioning of the organs of the pelvis through the action of the nervous system in its state over these with the condition of the blood supply have become irregular. Through the functioning of the hepatic circulation with the condition as given in the liver we find a torpid condition at times which causes the body to feel as if the bile ducts were overcharged in their action. For the condition as we find at the present time, we would take medicinal properties, as well as those of the massage or vibration along the entire length of the spine. If the vibration is given as a massage it would be better than the massage by itself. The medicinal properties we would take would be as found in this:
-
To 1 gallon of rain water we would add the following:
Yellow Dock Root…2 ounces, Burdock Root…2 ounces, Calisaya Bark…2 ounces, Elder Flower…1 ounce.
We would reduce by simmering, not boiling, to one quart. While warm, strain and add six ounces of grain alcohol with three drams of balsam of tolu dissolved. The dose would be a tablespoonful night and morning - in the morning after meals and at night just before retiring. Every three to five days - (this is separate) we would take plain phosphate of sodium one-half teaspoonful in three-fourths of a glass of water with two drops of syrup of sarsaparilla with one drop of turp or Canadian Balsam.
-
The vibrations should be each evening so the body will rest better and should be given over the entire length of the spine on either side of the vertebrae themselves and especially deep at the fourth and fifth cervicals and the ninth and tenth dorsals.
-
(Q) What would the diet be to produce flesh? (A) With those we have given here to stimulate the system, we will find she will want to eat everything. What the body calls for eat, but do not eat those that carry an acid, such as in pickle or things of that character, but of fruits the acid of that nature is well for the body, but not too much. The body will be well balanced when these are taken into the system. The body should use its discretion as to food - not too much meat, but sufficient to balance and give the carbon necessary for the body.
-
(Q) Will it be better for her to work where she is or get work away from here? (A) Work away from here will be more satisfactory in the end.
