GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes.
-
As we find, there continues to be the upsetting through the alimentary canal - especially those areas of the duodenum more than in the stomach and through the jejunum.
-
Since there has not been the ability to make the applications as indicated, we would use a poultice of a small quantity of Tartaric Acid. Put about a level teaspoonful of Tartaric Acid on gauze, then dampen same - gently; put another gauze over same and apply this over the abdominal area. Let this remain for at least fifteen to twenty minutes. Best to apply cool, though not cold.
-
It may be necessary to repeat this every four or five hours for a day or two days, until there is full evacuation.
-
Then preferably of a morning take first a teaspoonful of Milk of Magnesia stirred in half a glass of water. If this is taken in the morning, then in the evening take a tablespoonful of Milk of Magnesia again; then follow same with half a teaspoonful of Milk of Bismuth and fifteen drops Elixir of Lactated Pepsin stirred together in a glass of water.
-
Do that and we will make bettered conditions for the body.
-
Be mindful of the diet, - not too much sweets nor too much violent exercise.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) How long after the second dose of Magnesia before the Bismuth and Pepsin should be taken? (A) At least six hours.
-
We are through with this Reading.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 8/10/41 “I rec’d the rdg. o.k. Thanks for your trouble but the suggestions were no good for me. I don’t expect to be here much longer anyway. I have put up with and taken all I can stand for a long time. Sickness is the worst of all. The things over which we have no control cause the most sorrow and trouble in this old world. It is merely a case of the survival of the fittest. Thanks again.”
R2. 6/6/42 “How are all your folks during this time of trouble? We are alive and kicking. I am writing for a rdg. I put in one terrible, awful winter. My heart and nerves acted up all winter long. At the present time I have been scared almost to death. I thought I was losing the use of my legs, and I don’t know what to do about it. This just happened the last few days. You see, [daughter […]] and her family have been sent to Mich. They expect to be located at … [2342] is on a … job, and I was so upset over it - they have lived with us for 10 yrs. I helped raise the two children so far, and with the condition my heart has been in I felt so bad over it all that I am in rather a bad way. If I eat anything it turns so acid that it is like vinegar in my stomach and that is not so good.
“Daughter [2144] came into our place about 2 months ago to spend the day and fell down stairs 2 steps and broke a bone in her foot, and she was laid up for wks. She is just getting so she can walk without crutches now. She was here today and she and husband might come here to stay. I am not able to do the work here now. I am too soft, for I have been sitting around for months. [Husband] was home all winter and all I had to do was sit around and think of my miseries - that wasn’t so good. So this is the story of the [464]‘s…
“If you thought you had got rid of me I am sorry to disappoint you. I am very much alarmed about my condition. All the life forces seem to be dead. I never laugh or joke any more. That is not me. I never got over that intestinal trouble I had when I got my last rdg. I have felt all caved in on my left side, not in my stomach but near the spleen. It is a most terrible feeling. I had that all winter and was I crabby. I wonder what is wrong and if it can be made better. After reading this letter you may give the rdg. and know what the questions would be. I don’t expect to be resurrected from the dead but I would like to feel better if possible. My mind is constantly on myself and my miseries, which is all wrong I know.”
