This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 4th day of September, 1928, in accordance with request made by Mr. [195].

[Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mr. L. B. Cayce.]

Time of Reading 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Ohio.

  1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [4666], …, Ohio; also two drawings of cam arrangements which are on a chair in this room. Drawing “L” shows segments of cam M & N being made small with deep cut on radius S.T.V. also detail of lead end R. showing curved sprangle end attachment made in two ways. Either an offset curve as in H or as a regular curve as in K. In drawing “J” segments of cam W & Z are large with larger throat between W & Z and larger radius O.P.Q. Also sprangled ends X and Y in detail, showing two modes of attaching leads to cam through Sprangle arrangement. You will give explanations of certain visions that came to the body of [4666] and answer the questions I ask relative to drawings.

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body and enquiring mind of [4666], also the drawings as would indicate cam arrangements with the leads. Now, as has been given and indicated in information, that radius caused in drawing “L” at S.T.V. not in the proper ratio with the circle; yet that shown in drawing “J” shows too LARGE a radius in the W.M. So the somewhat combination of these would be nearer in keeping with that as would give proper ratio in the circle, or the MOVEMENT of the leads about same. So the irregular as shown on different drawing be somewhat nearer, see? While in the leads, that shown on drawing “L” with R and K end would give the proper ratio for the working model. Work this out along this line, and we will find perfect operation.

  3. Now, as to visions respecting the operations of others, these present rather again that warning as has been given [4666] regarding too much listening to outside influences. That activity of another is more of talk than the actual accomplishment. WORK, rather than listen outwardly. Listen more INWARDLY.

  4. With the arrangements of cam end with a proper ratio between N and M, which is not so great as shown in drawing Z, little more and not so deep as shown in drawing L, and with the leads as shown in R with K end curve, we will have a working model. Do that. We are through for the present.
