[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 4:15 to 4:20 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Mich.

  1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions that may be submitted, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes - we find the temperature persists, - the cold, the congestion has not been broken.

  3. We would bathe the lower extremities of the body, especially, in tepid or hot water.

  4. We would take a high enema.

  5. We would take internally, again, -

Five grains of Asafoetida, One Alophen Pill, Two Aspirins, and A jigger of Whiskey;

with a thorough massage as the body is ready for rest after taking all of these.

  1. On the morrow take AGAIN a high enema, massaging alcohol especially DOWNWARD along the spinal system.

  2. Do that.

  3. These should purify, should cleanse the system.

  4. These would be taken together, of course, the Alophen, the Aspirin and all.

  5. Ready for questions.

  6. (Q) Should the alcohol rub be given today also? (A) Tomorrow will be the preferable, - or it may be given after the tepid bath today, especially from the waist around the body, you see, then massaged across the small of the back and the WHOLE of the back may be very well. But on the morrow it would be well again.

Only liquids, of course, and semi-liquids should be the diet.

  1. We are through for the present.
