This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 6th day of April, 1939, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [1100], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 4:10 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Mich.

  1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions which may be submitted, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes.

  3. As we find, general conditions are continuing on the improve somewhat.

  4. There is the acute condition in the present from the general disturbance of cold, AND the general eliminations - as the Periods of the body.

  5. Hence we find there needs to be kept the feet warm, see? especially rubbing the lower limbs from knees downward with any warm solution, like a very strong mustard water.

  6. Take a good eliminant, as Syrup of Figs alternated with other activities that work with the same - Castoria. While the active principle in both of these is Syrup of Senna, these will be the more effective in the present. Take about two-thirds of a teaspoonful about an hour apart, first one and then the other. This would be the manner of taking, and the dosage of each.

  7. If there are the pains through the lower portion of the abdomen, apply any good rub, - as Olive Oil, or an equal combination of Mutton Tallow, Spirits of Camphor and Spirits of Turpentine, and put a hot pad on the abdomen or the back, or both.

  8. These as we find should make for much bettered conditions. These should be done this evening, especially.

  9. Do this, and as we find there will come better conditions; but we would keep the regular applications that have been indicated for keeping those activities of the liver, to prevent the conditions recurring of temperature and the inclination for strep in the blood supply.

  10. We are through with this Reading.
