This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 10th day of March, 1939, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [1100], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:15 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Mich.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions she submits, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [1100].

3. As we find, there still is the source of the infectious reaction, which produces the temperature - through the liver and gall duct area.

4. There needs to be again the draining of the gall duct through the osteopathic manner, but gently done. This should take at least three or four such treatments to thoroughly empty same.

5. Then be mindful that those drainages are eliminated through the alimentary canal in a nominal manner.

6. It would be well for a high colonic irrigation be given to relieve those tendencies for accumulations of toxic forces, as well as some mucous through the colon area.

7. Keep not too quiet, but not so overactive as to have the cold and chilly sensations by exposure.

8. Be mindful of the diet that there are those foods that are body-building, yet that keep a nominal or normal balance with same.

9. Do these as we find. These are the sources of the disturbance.

10. Ready for questions.

11. (Q) Should any medicinal properties be taken to help eliminations? (A) These as we find would be best handled in this manner as indicated, see - and if it is necessary these may be given.

But to give anything that would be so violently effective with the organs AND with the proper osteopathic manipulation would be too severe.

R1. 3/13/39 “Thank you so much for taking the reading, which I rec’d yesterday. I felt pretty sure that the gall duct needed draining again, so started tr. yesterday afternoon. Am going to Dr. Crowder [S. A. Crowder, D.O.], who is taking Dr. Thompson’s place.”

R2. 2/29/39 “Yes, I like Dr. Crowder very much and in some respects better than Dr. Thompson. He certainly has the story of the ‘work’ and the ‘Association’ first hand and seems very interested.”
