GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body. You will answer any questions which I ask you regarding this body.
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here.
-
Now, we find there are those conditions that become abnormal through the improper incentives as are manifested in the functioning organs of this body.
-
Now, these are the conditions as we find them in this body, [4767], we are speaking of. First:
-
IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find shows much of the existent conditions in the body by the amount of toxins as are carried in same, through the disturbances in the eliminations in the body. This is left in blood stream, and the effect to various organisms under the stress as has been produced is to bring many various forms of conditions to the system.
-
IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, for times back, this, in this body, has been under constant strain, and with those segmentations in the upper dorsal, this has disturbed the functioning of the blood through the pulmonaries and causes the irregular condition in the pulsation, affecting same through secondary cardiac plexus. In the reflexes from this condition there comes the strain through the plexus in the hypogastric and the pneumogastric. This causes the disturbance in the digestive system. The stomach, contracting under this strain, producing at times (not always) some nausea, and inability to eat. No desire for food. At others an OVER desire, and then the reaction is poor digestion in the intestinal digestion - that is, through the duodenum and the upper intestinal tract, causing distresses with the low hepatic circulation, and the torpidity in the liver, and the over nerve condition, all brings distress, and forms of asthenia takes place, and the drowsiness, dullness, inability to think, apparently keeping worried, apparently about to go to sleep all the time, and these forms of conditions arise from the toxins as are produced at such times in the body; the seat, the cause, of this condition radiating from that condition in the dorsal region, and that produced many years back in the lower lumbar region. Hence the distresses at times to the kidneys from this condition, with the overtaxing through the system attempting to ELIMINATE, this brings then to the GLANDS of the system the excesses as are seen, especially in the functioning of the ductless glands, especially those just above the kidneys here. This has often engorged and enlarged, and has been termed by some as floating kidney, or as a distress in the capsule itself. No. INFLAMMATION as is produced, and the irritation as is produced from the NERVE condition and improper eliminations in the body.
-
IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, brain forces very good, especially mathematical lines.
-
In the sensory organism, and the organs of the sensory system, all show the distresses of toxemia, and of the condition as exists throughout the body.
-
In the lungs, this very good organically, though, with the over strain, these at times cause some distress as of pressure through the upper portion of same.
-
In the digestion, these, as we have seen, show the various forms of the condition as exists, as also does the heart’s action. The liver in its torpid state gives off the improper conditions and does not eliminate through its normal manner.
-
The rest of the organism shows the effects directly at times, indirectly at others.
-
Then, to bring about the more normal conditions for the correction of this system, first, through deep manipulation, OSTEOPATHICALLY given, would we correct those conditions in the upper dorsal and lower lumbar region. That in the lumbar and near the sacral will be found the greater distresses of the condition. This, then, will necessitate the application of heat (wet heat, preferably) to relax the condition, that the adjustments may be PROPERLY made.
-
Take into the system those properties as we find in alkaline Petrolagar. This will cleanse and sweeten the system, and the foods must be of the normal nature - that is, taken in a systematic manner, and not too much. No meats whatever, especially hog meat. The JUICES of the beef may be taken in small quantities. Fruits and cereals.
-
Then APPLY, AFTER the corrections have been made, those vibrations from the Alpine Rays, to CLEANSE the blood stream and to create the proper vibration throughout the eliminating and assimilating system. This should be given at least twice each week, beginning after at least six (6) adjustments for the condition in the cerebro-spinal system has been made.
-
Do this.
-
(Q) Can the body take up the school work in September? (A) Were the corrections made, and at least two to three weeks of the rays applied, we would take up work - be better for the entity, for the worry to the body of inactivity would be worse for the system.
-
(Q) Is there anything to worry the body, other than his condition? (A) This is sufficient to worry him. The worry as is produced is from that condition of toxemia and of gland troubles, see? Those are active principles to the organism of the nerve system that affect the mental forces in a body.
-
That is all the questions.
-
We are through for the present.

REMARKS
(You will please state in the space below how near, in your opinion, reading fits your condition, as you know it yourself, and if you expect to carry out the suggestions made for the improvement of your health.)
Dear Mr. Cayce:- I was disappointed at first in the reading
- but as I read it over - I saw it was a pretty fair reading
- one thing he never seemed to be nausea [nauseous} - & we thought he had a no. 1 stomach, but the osteopath said bad stomach. The Drs. here have diagnosed his case as paralysis agitans [Parkinson’s disease] & said he probably would get worse instead of better - you did not mention the paralysis. He doesn’t have good use of his limbs - nor arms & hands - would the poison cause him to lose use of these organs. You spoke of his distress - & he is so distressed & discouraged so much of the time - the other part of diagnosis was just right. You did not tell me tho’ whether he would recover by using the treatment you prescribed. We obtained the Petrolagar alkaline & secured an osteopath yesterday & took the first treatment. He didn’t have much faith in a Psychic reading - but I found he diagnosed pretty much as you did. I have not learned what the Alpine Rays is or where he could get the treatment. This Dr. has several Rays for vibrations but not the Alpine. We will follow suggestions as near as we can, & we do hope to find improvement.
Thanking you Mrs. […] for Mr. [4767] …, Ohio

Dear Mrs. […]
Regarding the report as received from you a few days ago, I certainly am in hopes that before this time you are finding that Mr. [4767] is responding to the treatments of the osteopath. I am of the opinion, from experience we have had with other readings, that the poisons in the system are that which are causing the paralysis and that you will find, with the correct eliminations set up, that he will show improvement.
Possibly the doctor has not come in touch with those of his profession who have had experience with these readings. I would be glad to refer him to many of his profession who have had considerable experience with same, and be glad for him to communicate with them and let him know just the results they have obtained by following out the suggestions, because it would be very much better if we can get or have the hearty cooperation of the osteopath in this condition, for we of course desire to make check readings on Mr. [4767]‘s condition from time to time, and would like for the doctor to prepare the questions that would be asked at the time. You might speak to him about this, and if he DESIRES to know other’s experience, then give him some of these names:
Dr. W. A. Gravett, Dayton, Ohio, Dr. L. A. Lydic, of the same place, Dr. E. R. Kraus, 2345 Broadway, New York City, Dr. Gilbert of Paducah, Ky., Dr. Percy Woodall, Birmingham, Ala.
Any of these I think can give him a report as to their experience with this work.
I am in hopes that you are able to get the Alpine ray. Possibly, from our experience, if you give us the name of the one your physician there has, we will know if it will answer the purpose. I thank you very much for your report, and I’m in hopes you will let us hear from you from time to time.
Sincerely, EC:GD
R3. 8/12/26 Wife’s letter: ”…Received your letter this morning and hasten to reply, Mr. [4767] is feeling some better under the treatment… Will let you know how he gets from time to time. We are hoping for the best. Dr. Chatfield [Dr. C. A. Chatfield, D.C., McArthur, Ohio] says he’s coming fine - doing as well as he can expect, and a little more…”
R4. 10/8/26 Wife’s letter: ”…Will you please read [4767]‘s body again? Please set date as soon as possible, but let me have time to get word back after receiving your letter, for I don’t want to miss the reading, as we go to the osteopath every other day. Questions: Has there been any improvement in him since the first reading? What causes his bad dreams every night and what will remedy them? We are so distressed would like to hear soon. Is there anything in the subconscious mind that causes his illness?…”
R5. 11/21/26 Wife’s letter: ”…I would be glad to have the appointment November 30th. Will you please let me know the hour, as Mr. [4767] likes to take a little walk and I want to be sure to have him at home at the appointed hour. I am so anxious to have this check-up reading. He was so much worse for two weeks. Is there any treatment that our doctor has neglected, or any nerves that he hasn’t treated? Is there anything that can be done to restore his mental faculties and to make him sleep better at night?…”
