This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home, on Artic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 15th day of May, 1934, in accordance with request made by the mother, Mrs. [601], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 12:10 to 12:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Detroit, Mich. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [480]; this we have had before. The reactions, as we find, have become considerably exaggerated, and there has been and is considerable anxiety on the part of self and those about the body.

2. These, as we find, should not be alarming, provided the TIME of the diathermy application is reduced and that there is the proper osteopathic manipulation to adjust the body to the changes that are being produced in the sympathetic and cerebro-spinal system. For, while these have produced extreme pains in the head, it is the nerve ends making, as it were, their welding for the coordination of the body coming to its normal balance in this direction.

3. To be sure, those pains in the organs of the pelvis and those tendencies along the spine of sore places (as may be indicated by the one administering the manipulations) should be located; that is, those centers from which distress is shown; as in the 4th lumbar area. Again we find one in between the 3rd and 4th cervical area. COORDINATE these, now, with those along the cerebro-spinal, and we will have the blood flow flowing nearer normal.

4. Do this.

5. And we will have better conditions for this body, [480].

R1. 6/15/34 Mother [601]‘s ltr.: “[480] and I are planning to motor to Virginia Beach, leaving here Sat. 6/23rd. We hope to arrive Mon. and would appreciate if it were possible for Miss Davis to make reservations for us at a modern hotel near the beach, not very high priced as we expect to spend a week or ten days at your city.

“[480] has had a setback this past week and has not been very well. I am hoping the trip will help her. She has been continuing the diathermy and osteopathic trs. according to the instructions since last I heard from you.

“I am hoping that personal contact will assist you in helping [480].”

Dear Sir:

Acting upon your advice Miss [480], of … Avenue, …, Michigan has been coming to my office for Osteopathic treatment. After making a thorough examination of her I found that she had certain definite lesions, which correspond with your readings.

Miss [480] has shown improvement and these lesions have improved. Miss [480] is visiting you next week for further instructions and advise. She has be a wonderful patient and is willing to co-operate with you to the fullest extent.

Any further information that you may want concerning Miss [480], please feel free to write me as I want to co-operate with you in order that we may restore Miss [480] to good health again.
