This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 4th day of May, 1939, in accordance with phone request through sister - Mrs. [340], Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions which may be submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes.

3. As we find, the conclusions that have been reached by those examining the body are in accord with the conditions.

4. If the temperature continues, the sooner there is the exercising of those influences to remove the disturbing conditions the better.

5. Complications may arise. Do not hesitate to use adrenalin should it become necessary; for this would work with this body, even thought - as understood the lung conditions make for a diffusion or a confusion in this direction. As we find, this would work with this body, if it becomes necessary.

6. (Q) What is the condition of kidneys? (A) This as we find is s sympathetic condition, but an involvement from the temperature. And the activities of all the influences necessary would, of course, be HARD upon this condition; but if there would be used the extracts or the juices themselves - of the Jerusalem artichoke, even as a dose of same - it would be most beneficial, - even during the periods of the development for the system.

7. (Q) What is condition of uterus? (A) Very much inflammation, and needs those conditions to correct the system’s strain by the flow.

8. (Q) Do those in charge thoroughly understand the conditions? (A) As just indicated, the conclusions are in keeping with the conditions as we find that exist.

9. (Q) Are operative measures advisable, then? (A) As has just been given.

I don’t have much strength, can’t keep myself together. Dr. Shackleford has been mighty nice to me. I try to be as careful as I can. Am sure it just takes time… Sisters [243] and [340] have been mighty sweet to me since I haven’t been feeling so well. [421] called them the night I was so ill. They talked to you when I didn’t know it.”
