1. EC: Yes, we have the body here - this we have had before, [4827]. Now, in the general physical force of the body, these we find improved from that as we have had here before. While there are still those repressions in the system, that makes for activities that are seemingly abnormal to the body, these are from those PRESSURES as exist in the cervical and the upper dorsal region, and were this to be REMOVED, then we would have a nearer normal reaction through the sympathetic and the cerebro-spinal system. This pressure, as we find, exists in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd cervical, in the 2nd and 3rd dorsal. Then we would, through osteopathic - or proper CHARACTER of chiropractic - treatments, RELIEVE those pressures existent there, and the activities THEN would be rather those of the normalcy as is OFTEN promised by the body when taking suggestion from others, or making PROMISES to others - see? This we would do. Such a place as in those in Missouri, or those in the northeastern or western portion of state - EITHER; but preferably that at Macon, Missouri - Still-Hildreth. Not as mental derangement; mental suppression - see? Ready for questions.

2. (Q) In his condition in regard to money and gambling a normal or abnormal condition? (A) Abnormal, as is seen from that as is causing or producing same; for it isn’t the intent and purpose, but the ACTIVITIES of the body through those repressions or pressures as exist in these centers, or portions of system, cause abnormal reactions in the physical.

3. (Q) Can he be cured of gambling? (A) Do as we have given!

4. (Q) Would it be better for him to get out of business and money contact altogether? (A) For the time being, at least. Hence in the INSTITUTION, such as Still-Hildreth.

5. (Q) Would he be better off separated from his wife? (A) For the time being, until conditions are different!

6. (Q) Should he sell his business entirely and do something else? (A) Get him in a shape to be able to do something else, first! Then if it seems best to sell the business, or if it may not be conducted without his activity - which is growing worse and worse through his PRESENT activity - then sell! We are through.

R1. 12/18/34 Wife’s letter: “You will remember having done some work for my husband some 3 to 4 years ago. Through Dr. Ketchum we followed your instructions which greatly improved his condition.

“I now have two little grandchildren who are needing medical attention badly but we are unable to obtain a correct diagnosis for them… [See cases [785] & [786].]

“We lost our business and all we had and have had a very distressing time financially. I am working for a very meagre wage at the present time but am expecting to go back into business in the near future.”
