This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at Phillips Hotel, Room 115, Dayton, Ohio, this 8th day of April, 1924, in accordance with request made by self - [4882].

1. EC: Now, we find while there are abnormal conditions in this body, and the physical resistance in the body is not better than that we had here before, yet we find different conditions existing in the system, and arising from different causes, yet some being produced very similar to those we had before, on account of the tendencies of the functioning organs to be below their normal in functioning, and in propagation of those units of cellular force to meet resistance in portions of the body. In others we find the lack of elimination, leaving congestion as it were, and coagulation in used forces does not take place properly. There is in the system then those toxins that have formed from this lack of perfect or of normal elimination, until the body becoming over balanced in this manner does not function normally, giving then the dull, nauseating feeling, or expression, to stomach, and upper intestines, with tendency for foods taken to sour before entering duodenum or being acted upon by pancrean juices in the system, giving dull headaches, pains in the eyes, leadened feeling to lower extremities, with an uneasy feeling to the organs of pelvis, especially the kidneys. Feet and lower limbs appearance of tingling or swelling when standing on feet for some time. This we find is the manifestation in this body of conditions, [4882], we are speaking of.

2. Then to bring the normal forces to this body we would take this in the system, with the thorough massage (osteopathically) to produce elimination in the centers of the excretory system, with stimulation of the circulatory system. Take these osteopathic manipulations then at least twice each week, for three to five weeks, taking in the system at the time these properties.

Powdered Myrrh…36 grains, Carbonate [Bicarbonate?] of Soda…18 grains, Sulfate of Iron…18 grains.

Mix well to-gether, adding sufficient simple syrup to make into pellets, making twenty pellets. One should be taken each evening. Let the diet be those of vegetable matter, and of sufficient laxative to perform the function of elimination in normal manner through the system.

3. Do this. We will find we will bring the normal forces for this body, [4882].

Enclosed you will find a reading as gotten this morning. I’m very much in hopes you will find that this will make the proper corrections for you, and that you will soon be feeling quite yourself again. You perhaps may have to go to Birmingham for this osteopathic treatment. In that case I am sure you will go to Dr. Woodall. Will certainly be very glad to hear from you from time to time to know how you progress, and you know will be very glad to check up on this and see whether you are getting the correct results from that being accorded the system, either osteopathic or medicinal.
