-
GC: You will give the physical conditions of this body at the present time, with further suggestions for the treatment and cure for this body.
-
EC: Now, we find there are changes in the body in its physical condition from that as we had here before. We find that all of conditions as given for the body have not been carried out entirely. These as accorded in portions of system, and on the portions where distress is caused in system, have brought better conditions for the body. The contraction of the nerve centers in portions of the locomotories and in extremities coming from lack of eliminations being carried on properly in the system.
-
We would then, at this time, and with the present conditions, prepare these for this body, and this to be taken internally, so that we will produce the better eliminations now through the channels of elimination.
-
Take, then, as this: To one gallon of rain water, add:
Sarsaparilla Root…2 ounces, Wild Cherry Bark…2 ounces, Yellow Dock Root…2 ounces, Poke Root…1/2 ounce, Stillingia Root…1/2 ounce, Burdock Root…1 ounce, Buchu Leaves…30 grains, Mandrake Root…20 grains.
-
Reduce this by simmering (not boiling) to one quart. Strain, and while warm add three drams Balsam Tolu cut in four ounces of grain alcohol.
-
The dose would be teaspoonful four times each day, before meals, and be sure the system acts well with these properties given; that is, at times it will be necessary to give the body enemas, that the excretions may be eliminated properly.
-
When we have the contraction in muscular forces, well (as these properties that are being applied) that also we use stupes of mullein leaves, or poultice of meal of okra seed. These may be alternated, and we will find this will reduce the inflammation, and with the properties as given internally, bring the better conditions and the relief to the sufferings for this body. Do that.
-
(Q) Where should the poultice be applied? (A) Where the pains are; knees, hips and on the limbs, feet and ankles, right side, shoulder, in the whole portion of where the pain and contraction of muscular forces, when there is pain in the body. These would be applied about once each day. Better in evening, that the body may rest.
-
(Q) Will the body recover? (A) Depends upon the conditions as are carried out for the body. This will bring relief and give the body a great deal of assistance in bringing nearer normal conditions for the body.
