An involuntary reading, that is, it was volunteered following 4883-2 for a woman whose husband was present. A definite appointment has not been sent for Mrs. [325].

EC: Now we have the body of [325]…
-
In the physical conditions of this body, we find there are conditions that have become somewhat exaggerated in the system since that as we had here before.
-
Now, these are the conditions as we find them at the present time:
-
IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this a great deal better, yet the disturbances in the system in the changes coming to the body through natural system of the body, in its age, gives much distress to the body in the pressure produced in system, the head especially, yet the elements, the constituents for the system in blood supply are very good. There is not the elimination proper. This produced more from the nerve strain than from organic disturbances.
-
IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, we find the condition in arm, in shoulder, in side of face, sometimes improved. Again there is the retraction through nerve system. This brings great distress then at times, especially when body is worried, or when the pains to head give undue stress on the nerve system.
-
IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS OF THE BODY, brain forces, as given.
-
Sensory organism showing the stress and strain of the nerve supply in system, and the centers wherein the body needs the relief from same.
-
In the lungs, bronchials, larynx, very good; yet the strain through portions of the nasal cavities shows how that the nerve reaction prevents the air passage forming the correct vibrations to produce the equalization of pressure in air portion in head.
-
In the stomach and digestive organs, these we find show how that, from the condition in nerve system, the body often does not desire food, when food is really necessary for system. Also through this reaction in hypogastric and pneumogastric plexus producing the condition that comes to the heart’s action, or producing fluttering, or pulsation quickened to the heart’s action; raising then the blood pressure for the body.
-
In the liver, this has been too often produced by the retraction of properties taken to bring about the normal functioning in excretory system.
-
Kidneys show the repression, also the stain produced on the emunctories in same to bring about eliminations.
-
The organs in pelvis show how the nerve strain in the system brings distresses to the body.
-
Then, to bring the normal conditions for the body at the present time, we would take those deep manipulations, from osteopathic treatments, that would relax the nerve centers in the whole cerebro-spinal system, removing strain from the body, as to bring nearer normal conditions for the body.
-
Changes of scenes of environment would be well for the body, to the South and West.
-
Do these.
-
We are through for the present.
Reports
Reports & Follow-up
R1. 2/7/25 “I appreciate the rdg. very much, as it made me feel a great deal better to know that I have no serious trouble. The rdg. is just as I feel, only I wanted to ask more about the bitterness in mouth that worries me so terribly. I expect it, too, is just my nervous condition, but I am a great deal better and stronger. Now that the business has been settled up to my satisfaction, thanks to [son [257]‘s] kindness and God’s guidance, and to the honor of [husband […]‘s] name, I hope to be o.k.
“I hope that you had a nice visit in N.Y. I shall go to N.Y. first to get [son [2588]] settled, and then to your promised visit to Southwest as you read two summers ago [See 325-1 Reports]… Thanks again for helping me get ready for my trip.”
R2. 2/9/25 Son [257]‘s ltr.: “Mother was so pleased, but she is still worried as to her plans.”
R3. 3/19/25 Mrs. [325]‘s ltr.: “I was so sorry to hear that the Madam (Mrs. C.) hurt herself so severely (falling down basement steps on face). I do earnestly pray that she is much better. That is how I hurt my arm twelve years ago, and it is still, as you know, giving much trouble, but of course I must use my arm, while Mrs. Cayce’ face can rest and will get better easier.
“I am a great deal better as I have no steps to climb, and my heart does not thump so. I like N.Y. very much but it could not lead me away from my happy home [in Ky.]. As the saying goes, once you see the bright lights of N.Y. you are doomed. Not so. They are lights to my eyes and that’s all, and too many at that. I should worry. All I see is my dear ones around me and their friends, and I am well contented. [Son [257]] looked worn when I came here, but looks a great deal better. He wants to do too much in one day, but I hold him down and he does not know it. My girls like Ky. the best. I believe I do too. We are very crowded in our apt. but must do the best we can - we can’t have just all the sweets. [257] and [4162] are doing nicely in business. [2588] has not been placed as yet. [Daughter [558]] came here Sun. and she and [1565] expect to be married in Aug. or first of Sept. [Daughter [459]] and husband [4159] are fine
- they have two beautiful children [[1856] & [2444]]. They will be here soon to visit me.
“Well, dear boy, I do hope all is well with you. Give the Madam my best wishes for a speedy recovery, with love to you and your dear family, I remain as always Mother [325].”
R4. 4/12/25 She wired for Ck. Physical for her son [257] [See 257-9] and for 563-1 for her youngest daughter.
R5. 4/29/25 Son [257]‘s ltr. says all are feeling better, but: “Mother is the one who gets the worst of it. She is complaining again of her arms and side…we’ve all been sick…thanks very much for sending the rdgs. - they were wonderful help to Mother. She has had a hard time.”
R6. 5/1/25 Mrs. [325]‘s ltr.: “I worked on all to keep them well. I myself have had a very sore throat. I feel all broken up; my maid left me, but luckily [558] is here and daughter [460], and we did not perish. Thanks so much for your kind help in the matter. It is always a consolation to know that one is on the right path.”
R7. 5/5/25 Son [257] submitted questions for his mother, saying:
“I’m o.k., only worried about Mother. I want her to begin her treatments at once and shall enclose a list of questions
- which she will follow - just as I did… I’ve asked for several questions on Mother’s business affairs. If possible please answer them as it will make things lighter for me… Mother looks very bad - 6 wks. and not a full night’s sleep. It’s wonderful what a mother can stand…
“What will relieve pain in right arm? Why does the vibrator violet ray?] cause rush of blood to head? If vibrator is to be used, what kind and voltage should be used? What will relieve bitter taste in mouth? What causes it? Is present apt. a healthful place to live? [It is so cold and damp.] When right arm is used what causes effect to heart? Should she walk for exercise? What will relieve pain in feet? Is there a cure for the growths on feet? Should she have daughter [558]‘s wedding in the East? When will she be able to handle it? Will she sell home in Ky.? Should she make investments in N.Y. at present or wait? What is best investment for her trust funds? Should she purchase Capital stock of Freed-Eisman Radio Corp. of Bridge Plaza, Brooklyn, N.Y.? What will its future be?”

It has cost me so far this two months every dollar I made last year, but I want the family name clear in …, [Ky.] so I will ask for her rdg. She is at home all day.”
