This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at Phillips Hotel, Room 115, Dayton, Ohio, this 22nd day of May, 1924, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [325].

1. LS: You will give the specific condition of the arm which is causing distress to this body. Also the specific condition of the heart of this body.

2. EC: Now, we find the general condition over the whole system better than when we had it here before. The distress as caused in the system, and in the brachial plexus, and in the plexus of the forearm and shoulder that gives distress, is caused by the ligaments being strained and producing [pain], and in the form of lesions where ligaments were strained and the vibrations as given to the body were to produce the vibration necessary to cause coagulation in a manner that would relieve this condition. The vibration as accorded, and that gave the accentuation of the distress in arms and and in brachial plexus, was so strong that it overtaxed the condition, but this should have been, and should now be, accorded the system as given, using a saturated solution of pure apple vinegar and common table salt massaged in shoulder, brachial plexus and in elbow, at least once each day, until the distress disappears, and until nerve system is according the proper equilibrium through this center.

3. The condition of heart forces we see are being produced from the condition existing in the upper digestive tract, and with the medicinal properties as given will prevent the reoccurrence of these conditions. The nerve plexus in the secondary cardiac region will receive, with this massage and vibration, the necessary incentive to prevent the overflow and pressure of blood to the nasal and nostril regions, and this heavy dullness to the head and to the throat, and portions affected by the blood overflow will be assuaged and the whole system receiving the better equilibrium throughout.

4. Follow those conditions as have been accorded for the system, if we would give the best to this body, [325].

R2. 11/14/24 Mrs. [325] wrote reporting on her daughter’s rdg. 558-1, then said: “I am getting ready to move to N.Y. I do hate to give up the home here in Ky. but all the children are leaving me and I can’t live by myself, as my children are my life, God bless them.

“I was ill last week but feel better again today. My arm is slowly improving. I hope, dear boy, that you will excuse my script, as I am very nervous.”

R3. 12/10/24 “I have been very sore in arms and shoulders - could hardly move them. Today the pain is some better.” [She requested 1565-1 for her son-in-law. Also 558-2 for daughter.]

R4. 2/3/25 See 325-6, and subsequent letter [Par. R3] reporting that she had an accident to her arm many years ago which was still causing trouble off and on, periodically. [Later the condition culminated in breast cancer.]

R5. See subsequent readings 325-6 through 325-40 for various disturbing conditions and symptoms, underlying all of which no doubt was the incipient cancer, being indexed under Cancer:Tendencies. Under 325-41 we find the rest of the cards indexed Cancer:Breast.]
