This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the Tutwiler Hotel, Birmingham, Alabama, this 5th day of December, 1922, in accordance with request made by [4893], via Mrs. Cooney.

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, the abnormal conditions as we find in this body have to do with the circulation, especially the lymphatic forces as applied to the body and to the extremities, as the seat of the troubles comes to the plexus of those governing the locomotories in the upper and lower portions of the body and affect the ligaments of the extremities. This is a congenital condition.

2. Now, these are conditions as we find in this body: We find the body very good in the circulation of the blood forces themselves, yet with the lymph carried to the extremities there, it, the lymph refuses to return in its proper channel and affects the condition in the outer portions of the body causing the drawing or stiffness to parts of the body at times, the cause being the ducts and glands that secrete this fluid in the system not being of a sufficient nature to carry on through these portions of the body, it being a predisposition within the body and brought forth through other forces and must be overcome here.

3. There are sufficient number of red blood cells in the body, the quality of the blood especially, through the make-up of the hemoglobin, being the deficient factor in the blood itself. The white are over-abundant in their numbers.

4. In the nerve forces through the body we find the cerebro- spinal being very good. The ends of the nerves where they come in conjunction with the action of the sympathetic in the extremities and about the sacral plexus show their lack of coordinating, produced by their lack of nutriment to give their full growth in rebuilding tissue or of producing the correct or proper eliminating forces in the system. The sensory forces of the nervous system are very good. Their co-ordination between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal is very good. The effect, is not corrected, will reach these organs soon, hence one of the special reasons these conditions should be corrected as soon as possible.

5. The functioning of organs as organs are very good. The lung forces are expressed by the action and condition of the blood force, hence the tiny pains at times that come through the shoulders and portions of the chest, yet, organically, this portion of the body is very good.

6. The heart forces show the action of the end of the nerves as controlled by the capillary circulation and are over-loaded at times when the body shows reflex forces from the condition in the extremities.

7. The liver and kidneys are both inclined to be lazy or sluggish in action through abnormal forces produced by the action of the lymphatics on the emunctories of these organs.

8. To give the relief of this body on the physical plane or force would be to give that in the system that would create the new tissue or cell force in the body and give those cells the same vibration as is produced in the body. All life is electrical, so for this body electrical vibrations would be used. We would give into the system this:

9. Chloride of Gold, 15 grains in fifteen ounces of distilled water with 8 grains of Bicarbonate of Soda. The dose would be 15 drops in half a glass of water three times each day. When each dose is taken every third day there should be added on that day, one drop of Rectified Oil of Turp, no oftener. The vibrations of electrical force should be of the violet ray with those that do not carry amperage but give the extra high voltage to the body. Do that.

10. (Q) Mr. Cayce, the body wants to know whether the treatments that you have prescribed will cause her limbs to straighten or not? (A) The treatments will not straighten the limbs but will put her in a condition so that she may straighten them.
