This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 31st day of May, 1925, in accordance with request made by Mr. M. B. Wyrick.

Time of Reading Bosque County, 11:30 A. M. Dayton Savings Time. Texas.

1. GC: You will give the conditions of operations at the present time, giving any suggestions that will assist the operators in bringing in this well, also telling of any conditions of which they should be warned. You will answer the questions relative to this well that I will ask you.

2. EC: We find there is not much change in the depth from that as we have had here before. The conditions are nearly the same. There are some obstructions at the present time in hole proper. These when removed we find will have depth then fifty-two fifty-three (5253) and necessary for ninety-three (93) more feet before encountering the production in the well.

3. The operators only need to carry this on, for we find there is production, as given, on two sides.

4. (Q) What are these obstructions in the hole? And at what depths? (A) At the bottom of the hole, cavings and bits. Pieces of bits.

5. (Q) Any suggestions as to how is the best way to remove these obstructions? (A) Bale out, drill up and bale out.

6. (Q) Are the operations in progress at present? (A) In progress at present, not drilling.

7. (Q) Should they consider shooting this well? (A) Not until they have drilled to the proper depths, for much better were this to be drilled to the production then being shot, but there are many depths where production might be obtained by shooting. These we find at the various strata where the oily shale and gas have shown - 5138 - 5097 - 4989 - 4872. Any or all of these would be well to consider, were they to shoot same. Would be necessary for the heavy blast, in the lower strata.

8. (Q) What quantity of nitro-glycerine should be used if they shoot same? (A) Hundred and fifty to two hundred quarts should this be shot. However, best to drill on to the greater depth, for with the preparations made this would be better, easier accomplished, better for the operations and for future of field.

9. (Q) Are there any conditions regarding the operations, or the machinery, of which they should be warned? (A) Only the cavings, as has been given, and watch the drum on the baling line - it slips.

10. (Q) What is causing the delay in drilling? (A) Line.

11. (Q) Any further suggestions? (A) Keep as has been given. We will find production here.

12. We are through for the present.

Have crew to take Donners place tomorrow. Have gotten thirty bailors from hole since starting it takes one crew all their time to keep hole clear new man is so good as Donner have only thirty inches fuel oil in tank.

Fifty three forty shale and sand the hole is clear of the steel from broken bit everything going better new driller seems to be a good one shall I order car fuel oil.

Lost tools Monday night broke line just above socket got them out nearly early this morning back drilling now there is a hard shell about sixty feet up from bottom that cuts the line.

Strung in tonight fifty four hundred thirty five bit may vary a few feet had some caving today not very bad the bailings look better than for sometime more shale oil than has ever come out of the hole before.

Drilling at Fifty four Seventy five in soft shale or Gumbo drills very fast takes good deal of bailing to get it out with smaller bailor.
