This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 11th day of June, 1925, in accordance with request made by Mrs. Edgar Cayce.

Time of Reading 3:00 A. M. Dayton Savings Time.

1. GC: You have before you the well being drilled on the land of Madison Byron Wyrick in Bosque County, Texas. You will give the conditions of operations at the present time, giving any suggestions that will assist the operators in bringing in this well. Also telling of any conditions of which they should be warned. You will answer any questions relative to this I may ask you.

2. EC: Yes, we have the well, the operations here. We find there has been trouble with the operations, for the cavings and the tools have been giving troubles. They have finally succeeded in getting these straight and have again begun the drilling in of the well. We will find that within the next forty-eight (48) hours there will be good information from the operations. Patience, care, attention, and we will find successful termination of these efforts, for we will encounter the production.

3. (Q) At what depth are they drilling at present? (A) Fifty-three fifty-six (5356).

4. (Q) Is there anything special of which they should be warned? (A) Most has passed at present. These are very good conditions that are beginning at present.

Dear Mr. Wyrick:-

We’ve been wondering how things are coming on with you and the well, so this afternoon, as we had an opportunity, we got the enclosed reading on the operations. Whenever you have the chance, shall be very glad to hear from you and know how everything is getting along. You know we are very anxious.

I certainly do want to thank you for your kindly remembrances of the boy [HLC’s high school graduation], and I’m sure he will write you sometime in the near future. We are naturally very proud of him so far, hope he’ll get started out in the right sort of way.

I’m also enclosing you a bit of data that we got some days ago [5748-1, 2, 3 re Prehistory Egypt]. This perhaps will be of interest to you.

Fifty five hundred fifteen feet still in soft shale takes more time to bail than to drill, this soft shale has EXCITED the SCOUTS quite a lot for it carries a GAS showing.

Looking better checking with your last reading I want to thank you for the well reading Thursday and the Copy of your Egyptian History. Its great. Would like to know about the material things of that time. How did they travel over the world. Hope to see you soon. Best wishes. M B Wyrick

R4. 6/13/25 EC’s letter to Mr. Wyrick [See 4905-28 which EC sent with this letter]:

My dear Mr. Wyrick:- I was glad to have yours of the 11th. We had already, as you know, mailed you a report gotten on that same day. It seemed to confirm a good deal of report as sent. I’m sorry to know that they haven’t already reached the production, though we seem to disagree considerably in the depth, I feel from the reading as gotten, also from the formations they seem to be encountering, that we will surely reach the production in the next few days. I certainly realize that this is something of a burden in financing and the amount of oil, cable and amount necessary for operations, but I’m certainly in hopes that we’ll soon be rewarded for it all. You certainly do deserve it and I can’t help but feel that it will certainly come, and I’m certainly in hopes it will be in the next day or so.

Let us hear from you whenever you have the opportunity.

I thank you also for the request for the Life Reading. We’ll get these for you the first of the week. I don’t believe I told you in my last letter, when I sent the information that was gotten millions of years ago, that we had gotten another [341-9, 10] trying to connect up all of the people that we had had that had been given as having been in Egypt at a certain period. This seems to have been about eleven thousand years before the Christ came. I will send this to you also in the next day or so, as soon as we get it all together. It certainly is very interesting.

Nothing especially new, and we’re not very busy. We have some mighty good reports though from some of the people we’ve given physical readings for in Chicago.
