This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 2nd day of June, 1925, in accordance with request made by Edgar Cayce, for [341].

Time of Reading 3:30 P. M. Dayton Savings Time. …, Ohio.

1. GC: Now you will have before you the psychic reading [341-9] given by Edgar Cayce the 2nd of June, 1925, [12 noon] and you will continue with this reading and will answer the questions regarding same that I will ask you. [Did these individuals live in Egypt at the same time as [341]; if so, were they associated with him and in what capacity?]

2. (Q) Mrs. [265], in household of ruler: (A) Isisis, the mother to the ruler and in the household, and lending much assistance to ruler in the early days, for the mother lived many years after the ruler ascended the governorship or Kingship of this people.

3. (Q) Mr. [599] as Sisod: [See 599-3 on 4/4/25.] (A) In this same rule, in the capacity of the executioner to the keeper of the Sun Temple, where the ones were kept who were to be executed or banished. The office afterward coming to a high position in the political life of this country, through the many changes that come as the years go on. We are now in eleven and sixteen to the eleven - nine - see ninety-eight years, a hundred, to ten - twenty - forty - fifty-six.

4. (Q) Miss [2717] as Issississo: [2717-1, 5/1/25] (A) In the same rule in the house of the King and officiated in temple service when King demanded same, and a favorite to the sage of that day.

5. (Q) Miss [136] as Isiso: [See 136-1 on 3/5/25.] (A) In the latter portion of this same period and in the house of the Priests and very close to the sage of that time, who then being up in years needed the attention of those who could bring help to same. King’s favorite at the same time.

6. (Q) Mr. [4198], next to High Priest: [4198-3, 1/23/25] (A) Not in this period.

7. (Q) Mrs. [4200]: [4200-1, 2/4/25] (A) Not in this period.

8. (Q) [2725], child of ruler: (A) The offspring in this period, and the one close to the King in this period, of the favorites.

9. (Q) [2658], household of one next to the ruler: (A) Not of this period.

10. (Q) [2802], builder of foundations of King’s house: (A) In this rule, and one of the builders, though not close associated with King.

11. (Q) [5453] as Ibxi: (A) The keeper in the Temples in Ibex, closely associated with family, not with ruler direct.

12. (Q) [4900] as Dodo: (A) In this rule and the associate of the Councillor to the King. Not in favor with King.

13. (Q) [4898]: (A) Not in this rule.

14. (Q) [953]: (A) Councillor to ruler, in that of Asriaio, and in this rule, and the chief Councillor to the ruler, and especially in that meted to the High Priest when the laws of the country, as set by Priests, were broken. The Councillor then one counselling the ruler. [See 953-24 on 6/12/26.]

15. (Q) [4227]: (A) In this same rule, and in that of Isitao, and in the household of those who served in Temple and among the favorites of the King.

16. (Q) Mrs. [2495] in Temple: (A) Not in this rule.

17. (Q) [3948]: (A) Not in this rule.

18. (Q) Was this ruler, Araaraart, [341] a native of this country? (A) A native of this country, though the father the native of the North country, for this is how the second rule came in this country under this line of rulers, and remained same until the insurging forces from the Eastern hills came in many, many, many years later.

19. (Q) Were sacrifices offered by the High Priest, Ra-Ta? [294] (A) No. Sacrifice offered by the Sacrificial Priests, High Priests being those who waited on the peoples, only offering the emblematical for the King and King’s favorites. We find the same in that later given in the Wilderness, when Aaron made High Priest. The High Priest only offering that as prepared by sacrificial priests at certain periods.

20. (Q) What did this High Priest [294] do to cause disfavor in the eyes of the ruler? [341] (A) It being permissible for the Priest [294] to have only one wife, and this High Priest taking of the daughters of the second sacrificial priest and a favorite [538] to the King, [341] as the Concubine to the Priest, [294] this brought in the forces of rebellion, and the banishment when the offspring [288] was presented in the Temple.

21. (Q) Was this priest, Rhaha, [228] the second priest and father of Isris, [538] and the one who took the place of Ra-Ta? [294] (A) High Priest but not a sacrificial priest. This priest the one who takes the place of High Priest. Second in the High Priests, such as is seen in the same line as given.

22. (Q) To what age did Iso [288] live, and what was the connection of this body with the King? [341] Was she banished with the parents? [[294] and [538]] (A) This body, [288], we see, in the fourth to fifth year. Not banished to hills. Kept by the King, as for the respect of the mother, the favorite, [538], and kept in the house of the Sun, or in the Sun Temple under that rule, and this brought the constant consternation to the King, as to whether he was justifiable in banishment, or would not this have been better other ways. Listened, however, to the Councillor [953] who sought this banishment. [See 341-10, Par. R3.]

23. That is all of the questions.

GD’s note re 341-10, Par. 22-A: It is interesting to note that Mr. [953], the councillor to the King [341] in the Egyptian incarnation, this time left his own wife and took a common law wife, since his wife would not give him a divorce, and had two sons by her. No doubt he suffered greatly, because he really loved the common law wife and wanted very much to marry her. This seems to be a good example of those “jots and tittles” of which the Bible speaks. [He had forced the high priest Ra-Ta into banishment because of a sin for which he became guilty himself later.]
