This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 11th day of July, 1925, in accordance with request made by self, Edgar Cayce.

Time of Reading Bosque County, 3:45 P. M. Dayton Savings Time. Texas.

1. GC: You will give us the condition of operations at the present time, also the prospects at the present time of the operators making this a producing well. You will answer any questions I might ask you regarding this.

2. EC: Yes, we have the operations here. We have had these before, you see. Now, we find the operations are going very good at the present time, with better indications in the formations as they proceed with the operations, for they have just begun to make new hole, only been operating on this now for twelve hours. The prospect for the production and bringing in of some is better and better as they proceed with operations. These we find should be through now within the next twenty-eight to thirty-eight hours of operating, drilling, making hole. These should bring into the producing area and make a producing well. Keep then in the way and manner as has been given.

3. (Q) Is there any condition at present of which the operators should be warned? (A) Nothing other than that regarding the machinery of which they are aware and taking cognizance of same.

4. (Q) What is the depth to which they have drilled? (A) Fifty-five eighty-seven (5587).

5. (Q) How many more feet from this depth will they have to drill to make this a producing well? (A) Seventeen (17).

6. (Q) What is the character of the formation they are in at present? (A) Very black lime and asphaltum base.

My dear Mr. Wyrick:

We hadn’t heard anything from you. Naturally we were anxious to know what was going on at the well. The enclosed is the information as we got it this afternoon. I certainly hope things are going along nicely and that at least by Monday afternoon we’ll have a real, real gusher.

Let me hear from you whenever you have an opportunity. I’m anxious also to know how you’re feeling physically. With kindest personal regards,

R2. 7/16/25 Mr. Wyrick’s letter to EC:

Dear Cayce:

Your reading Saturday 11 very peculiar in that it gave drilling of new hole for past 12 hours. On account of necessity for new cables the work was closed down and the men sent home afternoon of Thursday 9th. New cables arrived Monday, hauled out string in Tuesday and general overhauling done Wed. - yesterday 14 - and started baling and drilling. Should be drilling today but no report so far. I have been out of city - reason did not advise you, wiring this p.m. for a reading tomorrow or Sat. to be mailed special to residence. Best wishes - hope all are well.
