This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 1st day of November, 1924, in accordance with request made by Mr. M. B. Wyrick.

Time of Reading Bosque County, 3:30 P. M. Dayton Time. Texas.

1. GC: You have before you the well, and the conditions regarding same, that is being drilled on the land owned by Madison Byron Wyrick, in Bosque County, Texas. You will give the conditions regarding same at this time and any other suggestions that would insure the success of the operations.

2. EC: Yes, we have the well and the conditions regarding same here. These conditions we have had before and we only need to follow out the suggestions as have been given regarding those operating, and those associated with the holdings and the operation.

3. The well itself we find at the present very good. The formations are good, and when these have been drilled we will find the production as has been given.

4. Care for water conditions in the well, that there will be no disturbance when the first gas pressure and the porous formations are entered. These conditions are better than they have been about the operations for some time. Needs that the equipment be looked after in the hard formation encountered and that tools be handled with care about the operation. Be warned particularly regarding the calf wheel that handles the casing and jacks about the opening.

5. Follow out the suggestions in all. We will bring the results for these operations.

6. (Q) At what depth are they drilling now? (A) Twenty-six ninety-three (2693).

7. (Q) Any further suggestions in regard to this well? (A) Follow the suggestions as given, looking after the tools and the properties, taking care in the handling of the water, and we will bring the desired results.

8. We are through for the present.

My dear Mr. Wyrick:-

Have yours of the 28th, with enclosure, and I thank you for both very much. I’m certainly glad to know that conditions are coming on nicely at the well, and the reading this afternoon, a copy of which I am enclosing, seems to indicate that the whole outlook is very much better just at the present time than it has been for some time. I am in hopes that they have no trouble but you will notice there is some warning regarding tools about the opening and the calf wheel in particular, especially when they go to handling casings.

Hope you will let me hear form you when you go down this time, for you know that I will be over-anxious regarding the outcome of the operations. I thank you for the pictures enclosed. Things certainly look like the real thing was going on and it makes me feel like I’d like to be back on the field.

There’s nothing especially new going on in the developments here, only one of our men from New York will be down to see me tomorrow. I hope we can arrange to get the book [[3744] series] or something published and get things started in some way.
