  1. EC: We have in a large hall a lecturer, Carter David, on archaeology. There enters this auditorium a group of society peoples. Among them is Rena Lowe, who with her fiancee has been especially interested in the findings of this archaeologist. They, this group, listen to the lecturer with interest; he, the lecturer, showing many of the findings.

  2. Again in the home, the same evening, a the discussion turns to the discoveries that might be found in South America. There is a discussion of the Temples of Incal in the Peruvian Cordilleras; and Tom Stone, Rena’s fiancee, discusses with her the possibility of a group going on an expedition to that country.

  3. The boat of one of the party is fitted out and the party of men are to go. Rena decides that she will also go, as she has a brother who is in the Consulate Service in that country and who has often written regarding the conditions and of the many legends of the people in that country.
