This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at Phillips Hotel, Room 115, Dayton, Ohio, this 25th day of April, 1924.

[Edgar Cayce; Linden Shroyer, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 2:30 P. M.

  1. EC: Duo returns from the meeting in the Temple of Incal to Cuzon and is received among the guests for the reception given to the visitors of the Consulate agent, and at this entertainment there is the meeting between Rena and the half-breed or the Incal Priest, who is seeking the aid of the Consulate agent for his people. Duo is at once enamored with the beauty of Rena. When he is discovered with her in the alcove by her brother, he at once makes an appeal to the brother for a meeting, that the appeal for the cause of his people may be made.

  2. Stone is called to the meeting and through this source the group is promised to be guided to the region where the gold of the Incas might be found. This suits Duo’s purposes, for he sees in this the opportunity to gain that which he is trying to get, - a hold on the Consulate agent, through help offered his friends.

  3. The trip is planned and is made, and through the old paths that lead to the mines which have been abandoned and put under the care of the Incal Priests. The trip is made on llamas and they are carried up in the waste places, though the scenery is beautiful, and it is shown how the peoples in their day had used and made conduits for the water supply form the melting snow for the various portions of the valleys and for the city.

  4. The group is left in the mountain near a lake, and Due hastens back to the city to gain more influence with the agent and to bask again if possible in the presence of Rena. This finds the ready reception by her actions, for Duo is above the ordinary class, yet is not known by the people as one of the agents of Priest Memri. And there is the journey back and forth form the camp, which Duo knows is so situated that the people can only be urged on to pay more money to his people for information seemingly given, which is only of the character to induce them to spend money.

  5. He finally induces the brother and sister, with the other girls in the party, to join the campers in the mountains. This is done and then Duo attempts to keep as much in the company of Rena as possible.

  6. Then one day they are carried to the outer courts of the real temple of the Incas, and Duo, - acting as an interpreter and guide, - leads the crowd through portals that have seldom been seen by the outside world, and all the splendor of the Courts of outer walls and the hangings and draperies, with all the gold trimmings and the glitter of the sun lighting the walls through the natural encasement of the stellar lights for these Sun Worshippers.

  7. And with the authority as of one in charge, Duo leads Rena especially through these surroundings.

  8. The attention given by Duo is resented by Stone, and in camp after the second day’s journey or sojourn, the questioning comes between Rena and Stone. She immediately returns with the whole group to the city.
