Reports & Follow-up
R1. 1/22/21 See H. P. Salter’s affidavit under Case 3777-5 indicating that recently in Nashville, Tenn., [perhaps in the fall of 1920] EC gave a reading for his wife, Bess Salter [4936], which “not only described her condition and treatment but said where she should go for treatment - Still-Hildreth Osteopathic Sanitarium at Macon, Mo., and it is his [Mr. Salter’s] understanding that even Mr. Cayce did not know the name of such institution until the matter was later investigated.
“Mr. Salter has known Mr. Cayce for the past 18 or 20 years and not only considers him to be a man of most wonderful powers but a gentleman of the highest integrity.”
R2. 8/19/51 Miss [243] wrote HLC of Mrs. [4936]‘s death:
“She had a stroke three weeks ago… She had three nurses but I think was not able to speak after the stroke… She passed away yesterday.”
