1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time with suggestions for further corrective measures, answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [5067]; this we have had before.

3. With those changes wrought in the body, there are opportunities; while these may only be prolonging, we would continue with the use of the ultra-violet with the green glass.

4. We would also, as there are those hindrances, use the radio-short-wave. Begin to use it only about twice a week. Do have a general osteopathic, eliminating treatment following same. Because the multiple short wave is not available or in accord, use the radio-short-wave and give then not a stimulating treatment, but a relaxing and eliminating treatment.

5. As the currents of the body are changed by this radio-short wave, then let the manipulations be such that the drosses, the eliminating centers, lungs, heart, liver, kidneys, respiratory system, perspiratory system, do eliminate poisons. And let nature, with the life giving forces by a spiritual attitude, bring help.

6. We are through with this reading. [Note: In most cases when EC reached the end of a reading he would say: “Ready for questions”. In this case, however, he did not do so.]

R1. 6/6/44 Dr. George’s letter: “Mr. [5067] I am afraid, is about to expire. His kidneys have entirely collapsed, his heart action has become weak, and I believe that within a few hours he will go into a coma and die. I am very sorry, but I want you to know that Mrs. [5057] and I are very grateful for all your interest and help.”

R2. 7/27/44 Wife’s letter: “As soon as it is available, I would appreciate receiving 2 copies of the minutes of the Congress held recently. I found the meetings intensely interesting, and stimulating, and my visit there was so enjoyable that I plan to spend the remaining week of my vacation in Virginia Beach, from July 29 to August 6. I hope you will be able to give me a few minutes, so that I may prevail upon you to read my aura… Also, I would like to browse in the Association’s library, and perhaps present to it some of my husband’s books, if they are acceptable.”

R3. 8/8/44 IMG’s letter: “After my telephone conversation with you when I said that Mr. Cayce would be out of town, we have been expecting you to visit us and browse in our library. Since we have not heard from you, I am taking the liberty of answering your letter of July 27. The Congress Booklet has not been completed… We are always most grateful for contributions of books to the library… We hope that Mr. Cayce will be back soon…”

R6. 5/7/50 Dr George’s reply to questionnaire: “Chief complaint: Weakness. Physician’s Provisional and Final Diagnosis: Paresis. Duration of Treatment: One month. I felt that absolutely nothing could be done before Mr. Cayce gave the reading. However, Mr. Cayce’s diagnosis was correct. I do believe that the physical condition was from ‘self-indulgences and infections from general blood disorder’”.

R7. 8/25/52 Comment by GD: “On 1/19/46, a luncheon was held at the Town Hall Club, New York City, at which there were present about 30 guests, consisting of active members, officers and trustees of ARE. The purpose of this gathering was to discuss plans for the future program of ARE.

“Dr. George gave a talk on that occasion regarding the importance of Physical Readings. To illustrate his point, he cited the particulars concerning this case. He emphasized the following fact: Mr. [5067], although in an advanced stage of paresis, was nevertheless relieved from intense suffering by the application of treatments recommended by EC. Dr. George’s conclusion was based upon his personal observations in treating this patient.”

B2. 6/3/44 Wife’s letter: “After talking with you on the phone this afternoon, I obtained from Dr. George the questions which he would like to have you use at the Check Reading, which he hopes can be made without delay, and we are enclosing check for 10. to cover the cost of this reading. The questions follow: (1) Does the reading indicate that the multiple short wave oscillator is still of value? (2) Is the Dinsha Spectro-Chrome indicated, and of value? (3) What is the progress of the condition? As suggested by you, we are using the hot quartz [[Ultraviolet Light|ultra-violet]] lamp with the green-stained glass suspended between it and the patient. We are awaiting this Check Reading to see if we should spend the 800. required to purchase the multiple short-wave oscillator. We wish to again assure you that we are deeply grateful for your kindness in giving us these readings ahead of your regular schedule, and we would not request it if my husband’s condition were not critical.”
